I'll post one comment!
Can't we take a breath, enjoy the win, watch the team mature and just enjoy being on the winning side for the first time this year. The remainder of our schedule is winnable...
1 game at a time
So many b!^@hing!! I don't get it..
before the season began nearly everyone had us pegged at 1-3 (or 2-2 at best).. therefore, imo we are 2-2 (wisky forfeited).
Me.. well, I'll take this win. The money monkey is off their back. Maybe they begin to play a little faster, a little looser and with a little more confidence. I'm going to enjoy this win until kickoff next Saturday! GBR!!
Anyone who doesn't start off a post with _______________ sucks or we suck is dismissed as koolaid drinkers.
I have beefs with the play calling, burning timeouts due to disorganized coaching.....I really do, but can we revel in a win just for a while?

Luke played fine but I’m afraid a bunch of fans will read way too much into the result. I think 2AM would’ve had an almost identical game and result. Neither one of our top 2 QBs are or have been anywhere near our top ten most pressing problems. I just thank God we had such a large lead going in to halftime. Defense did what was needed in the 2nd half but our offensive play calling and woes still reared their ugly heads. Our issues are directly related to coaching. I love Frost and can’t imagine there is another coach in the country who would or could care as much about this program but they have some learning and adjusting to do.
I need to point out that one of the things AM has issues with is also something LM does well......game tempo. LM can get people set up quickly and that allows us to go more up tempo......AM struggles with this.
Also, how about a shout out to Jojo for recognizing the D was not lined up properly and causing a timeout to be called by N to correct it. That is what good football IQ does for you. I think Reimer can be that guy with some seasoning under his belt (sorry for that mental image).

I relearned that Nebraska is the only team that holds......none of our opponents do. Fire Austin!
On the flip side the Pee Birds are losing, to Purdue.

Ummmm okay? What excuses has he used this year? I guess I haven’t been keeping tabs on interviews as close this year as I have in years past.
Wait a minute. You're asking us? Seems like summin you should have thought about before posting your skree.

No, Flynn's issue was there was never a predicate to conduct an investigation re: Flynn. If there was never an underlying crime/charge then his investigation and subsequent untruths to the FBI relating to facts/dates/meetings were not consequential.
Correct.
Additionally, Under Title 18 Section 1001 (false statements in Federal matters), there are three components: (1) the statement must be false, (2) the person must know they were making a false statement and (3) the issue must be material. The problem for the FBI with Flynn was that agents were apparently unconvinced that Flynn knew he was making false statements with regard to his contact with the Russians. This isn't getting into politics as much as it is a matter of legal distinction. I'm not an attorney but I am a federal agent who has requested Title 18 prosecutions.
I would NEVER ask the DOJ for a Title 18 prosecution if there was a scintilla of a doubt in my mind that my Subject was unsure that they made a false statement. They get a huge amount of leeway from me (and most federal agents) if there is any such doubt.

Hope all turns out well for this young man. Rivalries go out the window when serious injuries are involved.

@Spooky Tooth Just search the board for any thread mentioning Ron Brown, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
Not sure if you mean his religious actions, but if so that's a damned shame. Most people think Bob D.'s philandering was a hoot, but Ron Brown is now persona non grata?
-
This may have been answered before but I can't find one......
Why no consideration given to Ron Brown as the receivers coach? He's already a member of the program, has the vitae for WR coach and his receivers friggin knew how to block.

I see them week in week out playing toe to toe with the best teams the BIG 12 has to offer. It’s year 1 for the new regime, you can’t tell me they have better talent than us. Any insight?
Frost had to deal with players actively making bad plays......that's at least part of what is going on.

AM is absolutely playing too tight. Last season he was more creative and loose. This year he plays like he's got feet of clay. Gotta wonder if he hasn't been overcoached. I think that's what I learned.

Chinander's defense hasn't changed. We rarely overload or use Tannor, David, JoJo to our advantage. We run the same 5 flat alignments all the time and doesn't confuse the offense. Our safeties are also playing over 15 yards off the ball on situations where they don't need to be. Our defense def outplayed the offense, but we also played a very bad So Bama team. I really hope we turn it up next week. Colorado has a good offense.
Gonna quibble a little with the bolded. While their initial set was well off the receiver, most times they snuck up into press. I have no issues with that.

Hey OP. Are you pulling your name from the British rock band Spooky Tooth?
Cause that's pretty obscure. Good band, though. I still have my vinyl of Spooky Tooth Two in the basement somewhere.
Yep. Amazed that anyone recalled them. And that record may be worth some bucks if it's in good condition.

Second coming of Mark Shaleen? If this will kid shave his head, sign him up.
Otherwise, watched his HUDL video. Are his legs short or are his thighs so big they make his legs look short? The 4.6 is a darned good time for someone his size. Decisive, makes cuts and goes upfield. Not sure if all the broken tackles are due to poor competition or if he just powers through arm and leg tackles. Regardless, I like his film and would not be disappointed with a schollie offer.

So, about like any fan site after consecutive losses then...
Nope. Epic conflagration goin' on east of us. What I learned over there is that KF is the love child of Alena Bobbitt and Jeffrey Dahmer. Think crunchy long pig jerky.

Our shortcomings are pretty glaring, but if you want to feel better check out the I_wa Rivals site. Holy smoke dumpster fire doesn't begin to describe it.
And no, I_wa fans, this isn't smack talk. Dayam!

Truly not trying to pile on, but Callahan didn't have a transfer portal to deal with and Riley's classes had substantial cultural issues.
