beck was one of the nation's top rated QB's coming out of high school and i am still grateful to him for electing to come to nebraska when he had a number of other offers from top ranked schools. also, beck, on his own, was very active in recruiting other players across the country to join him at nebraska. there is no disgrace in being the #3 QB at n.c. state. most men in this country would be thrilled and honored to be in beck's position.
