my favorite stat in this ranking is A&M being 0-3 against top 30 teams yet still ranked 15th.... oh and two 2 loss teams in the top 10!!

 

What do we think about a quarterback going 30/59 with a 4.1 yard average?

We think it's takes FOREVER for the game to pass.

 

I was thinking that the whole game!! The first half took over 2 hours!! and the second was pretty close to the same

Y'all want to come to NorCal, we can watch it here too, I'll re create the game conditions by making you watch it over an open flame.

This was by far one of the hottest muggiest games I have ever been to!!! Thank goodness fr amazing tailgate food and company!!!!

Went to the game and stayed until the very end!!!! Great game and great Husker crowd

Nebraska drops out of the top 25 in the AP, drops to 21 in coaches and drops to 21 in USA rankings.

 

I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but we were watching ESPN after the game, and Lou Holz was talking up Nebraska... how this wasn't the end of the world. Then for no reason at all... Rece (I think it was him) said that "Even though Abdullah won't win the Heisman..."

 

Who says that this early in the season about any really good player? Like it's already decided? It pissed me and my people off.

Running backs with only 8 carries in the second half and 50ish rushing yards against narrow wins on FCS teams don't win heismans.

 

They also,don't play for 4+ loss teams.

 

This does not mean that Ameer isn't amazing mind you. But let's project our anger towards the correct cause.

 

Leave the + out it has been a long time since we lost 5 games lol.... But I do agree Heismans don't usually come from 4 loss teams

Never said the kid could not play, just do not feel he is a team player. He is about himself and has been since he first started here. Some are like that. I am not a fan. Never have been. Do I cheer for him when he plays well? of course.

Never been a fan of Kenny's. Does not seem to be a team player to me, and have stated it numerous times. Individuals on teams cause problems, individuality on teams being allowed causes real problems.

 

We are early in a season, we all need to calm down a bit. Yes this game hurt, opened old festering wounds. But we need to stay positive as the kids do.

Ya but as soon as he scores a TD people talk about how amazing he is!! It amazes me how I see so many people on here give so much praise about players one week and then crap on them the next week! I guarantee in the game day threads next week and throughout the year people will be talking up someone one minute and then saying why and the hell is he on the field the next. I think we have to many bipolar people on this thread!! I would hate to see how many guys give a half A$$ effort in their jobs but profess to be amazing at what they do!

Mavric u have been here long enough to know that no one is ever happy and they can do play calling better than any OC in the country!!!
