The Huskers app has left a lot to be desired. Cuts out even if your phone goes to sleep.
If you were watching most Nebraska men's sports that app was doing you a favor!!!

There is no such thing as "too many skilled players". It's up to the coach to sort out who the best are and teach them how to play as a team....then have good players coming in off the bench.
As to your second paragraph. The only change I can see that would improve the game is to expand the court to the size of the NBA and have the NBA three point line. That would improve the inside game.
Fred very well could be our best answer right now. But, he needs to do some real soul searching and make changes similar to what Scott did.
You don't really think Scotty made all these changes on his own do you??

I'm fairly certain he'll be given two years, regardless of what happens
I doubt Scott gets 2 years if this season is anything close to what he has shown so far.

Probably wants to play in bowl games and close enough for the family to watch him play.

Ironic, though, isn't it?
When Nebraska was #1, our mascot said we were just OK.
When we are just OK, he now declares us #1? WTF?If we're being honest, he should hold up all his fingers on both hands to indicate that we play in the Big 10.
Also, we should go back to being the Bugeaters. No team wants to line up against the Bugeaters.
Nebraska hasn't been ok in a decade!!

Now I just want a hate group to identify "The Alan Parsons Project-Sirius" song as their group song and we can finally change that dreadful outdated song.
This right here!! I'm not against using an older song but at least get something not as cringe as that crap.

What a load of BS. He wasn't just hired because of his name.
Then why was he hired?? The Nephew?

8 and 2. Stop by 5 just for Freddie Mercury. Sadly no place for the early metal hard rock bands!

Haha I have to agree. I really don't think Whipple signed up to be coordinator in name only. And I don't think Thompson signed up to run anyone's offense but Whipple's.
I know there's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip but it's really difficult to not feel better about the season ahead with Thompson's commitment.
There's definitely some positive things going on!

As long as frost doesn't call plays or does any coaching Nebraska may make a bowl next year!

The fact that Zac Taylor is not on your list makes me want to puke!!!
Zac is going no where! My Bengals actually look good and there's hope in that organization!

Notre Dame wouldn't hire slimy Urban if he offered to coach for free. The Catholics would never allow a low character coaching hire.
I get you're talking football but that last sentence is hilarious.

Sean Snyder would be a good get. Success in special teams at both KSU and USC.
I have a bad feeling that Frost and Co. have literally no clue who they're going to get at offensive coordinator or OL coach. This might get ugly.
If true on the latter its just more of the same thing.

I agree. Helfrich will not push Frost in new directions as needs to happen. Frost needs to make the best hires possible and then take a step back and have minimal involvement with play calling or game management. That is the only way this program will turn around.
The less frost has to do with anything football related the better off nebraska is

Remember Frost had illegal practices to get to this point! f#&% that guy.

If it's helfrich nebraska fans need to raise hell. Tennessee type s#!t

No sense in being upset with it. Nebraska has sucked for a while. It's tradition now. What other teams can lose like Nebraska has?? We went through the embarrassing blow outs and now losing close games every week. Same thing every week.

That’s an assumption and you know it. We honestly don’t have any idea how much outside influence there is in picking said coaches.
It's the head coaches job to pick his or her staff. If the AD or anyone else is doing it your head coach is worthless.

Unfortunately under Frosts leadership failure should be expected.
