If he gets Raiola to come here, I’m giving him an A+ for the offseason.

He has 4 years to play still. Does anyone know if he saw any meaningful action?
The term I saw earlier somewhere was CornDawgs.

Saw that Satterfield is going to coach QB’s. And there’s 3 full time assistant coaches positions still open. So that would be TE, WR, LB?

But good press for us at the UA game.

Special teams again??

I am more nervous when we are on offense than when we are on defense…and we have the lead.

Why does it feel like HCSF is still coaching this game??

I hope Scott Frost still does well in the future.

You make big plays to get to the 4 yard line, with 1st and goal.
How come we couldn't run it 4 straight times? Instead, we threw it 3 times, got not yards, and kicked a field goal.
I hated that. And it's not fair to 2nd guess play calling when something doesn't work. We don't 2nd guess when something does work. But from the 4 yard line???... all I thought about was running it 4 times without trickery and extra motion stuff.

2 should have, but I think running it would have had better odds. Then again with our line…
Is that on MJ or Whip? I think the consensus think it’s MJ.

We have a pretty good special teams now.

Probably so, but it’s my perception.

Yeah you know I think there are several options we can go with including Mickey but the way he held the team together today and didn't let the mistakes get to them. I was really impressed. I think we should try hard to keep him around at least in some capacity.
Yeah. For the first time since I can remember I felt like we still had a chance to pull it out. Previous 2 HC’s teams never gave me that hope.

If we don’t get Urbs or Peterson, I have to admit that MJ is winning me over.

Most impressed on that blocked punt that even if he missed blocking the punt, he wouldn’t have hit the punter and caused a penalty. Great coaching and discipline.

Good article but why do you think Auburn- only because of recruiting??
Yeah. He apparently chose Baylor over other schools because of the in state recruiting talent. But that is probably just speculation? The article called out that we would make him have to recruit nationwide.

Interesting read on Rhule. But, based off this I would think he’d go to auburn.
anyone think jimbo is out at A&M? If that’s true then maybe Rhule goes there.?

Hypothetical question. Say we keep MJ, what coaches stay? What coaches are let go?
i wondered how in the past OC’s would have a direct impact on position coaches. I wonder who Whip would keep or let go. Like … does Raiola stay with what’s happening on the OL? Not his fault for inheriting who he has?

When has a coach-in-waiting situation ever worked? Was Jimbo Fisher the CIW at Florida State the last couple of years for Bowden at FSU? Other than that, I can’t think of any of those actually panning out.

So, is Trev excluding Urbs?

It's starting to look like they will.
We all knew the list of problems this team had. That's why we have a different head coach coming. Teams in our position never do well.
All we can do is cheer for the kids and support them as they struggle to survive this season.
I don't think there's a single head coach in the entire country who could be dropped into a situation like this and do much better.
Concur. Just saying that when some teams get up by 40, their second stringers kinda let off the gas a little. So they could stall in the 60 point range.

Oklahoma is showing us that we need a great coach. Tell me I'm wrong.
Yeah, but they’re the 4th team to show us this season. So they’re just late.

The real question now is…will OU drop 70 on us?

MJ looks to have the swagger that SF lost. Team looks like they’re responding to him today so far.
