I think he'll do well there in Freeze's system. That said, there's no telling how long Freeze will be there... a big-time program will give him another shot soon.

With the transfer portal, Mooney might be fine with that as long as he excels in that system. He might leave before Freeze. lol

"I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for me to finally show that I can be all that my potential is, if that makes sense,” Martinez said this week on KC Sports Network. “You know, I feel really good about the attributes I have and my skill on the field. Now, let’s put it all together and gets some wins and let’s do this thing. I’m confident about that and this is the situation to do it. There’s some incredible pieces and incredible players on this team. Probably the most talented squad I’ve been able to be a part of and that gets me excited. I think it’s a great opportunity for me to take that next step.”

    Hmmmmm….

I guess Wan’Dale wasn’t very talented. Same with Stanley Morgan.  I guess I better look more closely at their roster! Thoughts???

  3. Can always dream…but can’t see him coming here unless whip can make our QB’s into a heisman contender.

Which would mean great things for us. Only one winner ever played for a losing team.

I had high hopes for Ho'ohuli.  Wonder where he ends up.

Me too on high hopes. But found it peculiar that his name was never mentioned about players coming up the ranks, especially for his rating. Best of luck to him and hope they can pull out that potential.

  5. I’m excited to see what Whip can do with the QBs we got. Especially with Thompson and Smothers. I’d like to find out if it was a talent thing or a coaching thing.  Did we get guys that have specific ceilings, or was it lack of effective qb coaching..

But where is our RB coach already?!

Joseph is going to challenge his guys to be and do better. I think he’ll go right up to the line doing what’s necessary to light a fire in their pants without going beyond it. It might not always be pleasant though it’s going to pay dividends for his players and the unit as a whole.

I hope so! I think we need that kind of discipline to eliminate as many mistakes as we can.
