Why should we have any faith in Riley at all? Has there ever been a solid HC that inherited a 9 win team, had a losing season their first year, and then won a conference championship later on with that same team? Can anyone find one example remotely close to this?

  Confidence? If we are going to debate that ... I'm with you. I'm not confident about now or the future. It's the #FireMRInWeek8 crowd that baffles me. If we had 2-3 blowouts of our losses I might feel a bit different. Lets support the team and re-evaluate at the end of the season ... that's all I want.

  Mike DuBose, strangely enough, did something like that at Alabama. Stallings went 10-3 the year prior to DuBose going 4-7. DuBose won the SEC in year 3. Was fired in year 4. Weird tenure.
