I will never admit defeat before the game is played, and I'll always show my players that I believe in them by stating my belief in an upcoming victory. It's the curse of being a fan of a lower level team.....but you can't ever stop believing. Go Red Wolves!!! Go Huskers!!!

I knew you guys were good.....but dang......this was very similar to the Alabama game last year. Though....you guys put another 150 more yards on us. We had some positives and will learn from the negatives. I'll be the first to say this game wasn't even close to what the score shows. You guys could have put up whatever you wanted. Our run for the National Championship is over.....your run is just beginning. Congrats and good luck.

I can't wait.....it's less than 24 hrs away. I have family to tend to tonight, so I may not be around until after the game. It's been fun visiting here this week, and after Saturday, I hope you guys go undefeated....to make our upset even bigger. I've done my best to warn you guys.....but don't worry.....I doubt Roberts will run the score up on you guys. Play hard and avoid injuries....that's all I want out of this game....on both sides. This is still our 'preseason' and basically meaningless.....cause I doubt we'll make the BCS Championship this year without a solid punter.

Exactly. That means that there are a TON of people betting on ASU. Why is that?? Does somebody know something that I don't know??? Are there "wise men" involved?? NO WAY Nebraska was not going to cover 24 let alone 21. Yeah.....why is that? Maybe they do know something you don't.

LOL.....no, I'm not trying to trash talk. I'm just curious. I have a pretty good idea of the meltdown that would occur.....I was wondering if you did as well. I realize you guys have lost by 3-10 pts, but not to a team 'like' ASU. I say that because I know how ASU is perceived in the football world. But I truly believe we're much better this year. I can't remember having so many Seniors that actually produce.....and knowing this is their last year, I know they'll be giving 110%. As to Knapp....no, we haven't beat a ranked team in football yet.....we're still in the hunt for that. We did have a #25 team at our house with a nice lead....but it fell apart at the 4 minute mark. It'll happen....sooner rather than later.

if you won by only 3-10 pts? Just curious... I'm assuming a massive meltdown for a loss.....that would last all season. I believe A&M has just recently recovered from our visit.

I have no doubt that you guys would have given them a better game than we did. Granted, they were 9-0 after our game. Yes, depth is always a huge factor.

Alabama was ranked #2 at the time. They were a good team. Yall played a #4 Oklahoma around the same time we played Ala.....yall lost 66-28. You also played another #4 team in Missouri.....dropped that one 52-17. You did play #7 Tex Tech well...losing that one 37-31....on the road no less. Not disrespecting you guys at all....just trying to see how 'comparable' you are to Alabama.

Carrington is 6-5 and 285 lbs. Your stats aren't even close. He's a very large DE....and NO fat. Undersized? I can guarantee you that we will match you guys man-for-man everywhere except at WR's height.....we typically have smaller, quicker guys at WR. Our speed will be our edge....mark my words. Out coached? I don't know about that. Roberts has done a helluva lot with very little. Before coming to ASU, he even took a small 1-AA school in Louisiana into TCU and won. He enjoys the underdog role. Checkout our other players in 'big' games. Arnold always turns in nice games. Leonard has had some nice ones as well. Until around 2005....ASU could barely stay on the field with anyone. That's basically when our talent started to gel. You guys have no idea of the journey from 1-AA to 1-A....it's a long process, and we're not 'there' yet. In all fairness, our conference road schedule sucks. We have played to our opponent's level too many times.....something that is very common in conference games on every level. Our non-conference schedule is someone you guys can't relate to, because you are at the top looking down. Our team usually schedules way UP from our level of play (Neb/A&M/Tex/LSU/Tenn, etc)....where your team typically schedules way down. Naturally, our record (and your record) will reflect this. MVSU was a bad team. You got that right. We learned nothing here.
