I think a big reason the coaches felt good about moving Mike Mcneil to WR was the potential of Kyler. Kid has stepped up and is a mismatch against a LB or saftey. Another thing I like was the attitude of the QB's. I know they have said all the right things all year but everytime Taylor came off the field Cody and Zac were there talking to him and congratulating him. Dont see Cody leaving, I think he knows he is a big hit from being in. Especially next year with lee leaving. I see the QB's coming in taking a redshirt. The line defenitly needs to get some pressure on the QB. Just looks like they are tied up the entire play. If we can get pressure on Gabbert we win. My pick 34 to 20 GBR!

I like they way they are doing it. Because I think it was the iowa state games last year where everybody just turned around and they faked the punt and took of running. On that play not one person was looking at the punter.

Im glad that alex finally got some work last night. I think it was critical for him to get some game kicks in. He only had like 2 before last night. I know that he is really good but still wanted to get him some kicks now that big 12 play is here.

Was wondering how this is any different from a punch. If you punch a player I believe you are thrown out of the game. How is this different? I think the player should have been kicked out. Any thoughts?

he was nominated as a candidate and his team won the state title (A game i went to) but he wasn't player of the year that was someone named Matt Barkley Um wrong! Tmart was the max preps cali player of the year. Not Barkley. Maxpreps is not the best site they are known to be homers for certain schools and often don't have actually employees attending some of the games they "cover". Barkley was the number 1 player on 90% of websites and papers and even Gatorade national player of the year. Tho he is so much hype my high school team played him 3 times as we are in the same league a Mater Dei and beat him all 3 times. He was also named the golden state southern california offensive player of the year. And led his team to a state champ something barkley can not say. And he put up those numbers and was only at that high school one year.

I am a huge husker fan just like most people on this board but to say we have no flaws is just stupid sorry. We have young LBs, fumbled the most in CFB this year and have a freshman QB. I think hes good but give him a shot to do well. You probably said the same thing about Cody Green last year. As soon as we lose a game this guy will call for the next qb. Well I was wrong on who would start. But I liked what Tmart did and have faith in the coaching staff that he is the best one. I will back him just like I would any other husker qb.

Bo's not the first coach to have media conflicts. Mack Brown did the exact same thing to reporters for posting an injury during practice on twitter. What's the statement about, "He's from Ohio and may not get it"? Does something about being from the state of Ohio matter? Fact is Bo came from a tough, blue collar city and upbringing and sometimes that rough exterior comes through a bit too much. Bottom line is as long as Bo treats his players well and they have healthy relationships and have a solid program on and off the field, he can throw piss baloons at reporters for all I care. Nothing against Ohio. I'm just saying we have a certain tradition here he may not get. Turner Gill should be the coach anyway. Or someone from Nebraska. No one has proven anything since Osborne left except proving they can lose. Bo has lost 8 games in two seasons and has yet to prove himself. Once he wins a title he can talk all he wants but until them he needs to relax. Also I'm not asking him to be a pushover. I'm just asking him to show some class and respect and relax a bit. All of this anger towards the officials WILL cost us a big game eventually. So if your saying Bo hasnt shown anything because he hasnt won a championship then by your standards Osborne didnt prove anything to you until 94. People like you almost convinced Osborne to go to Colorado. Lets give Bo some credit for the job he has done so far. Bo will get there, he didnt take over a great team like Tom. The love for Martinez streams from the inadequate 2009 quarterback play, his spring game, and from what "inside" sources say. K how do you think Martinez would have done last year in the offense? It wasnt just the QB it had alot to do with the line. So do you think he wouldnt have had the deer in the headlights? And the spring game really. how many players have had huge spring games then done nothing. I think he his still 3rd. But I think lee will be on a short leash this year. First and foremost, I'm not pro-Martinez or pro-anybody. I was just pointing out where the obsession with him was coming from. Second, I don't think Taylor would have done any better in the offense, and the coaches obviously agreed by keeping his redshirt intact. Me either I just want the QB that will give us the best chance to win and I think it is Lee or Green but to get Tmart on the field bc he is so athletic. Sean Callahan said in the RSS live chat that he has heard that Cody Green has made a push late. If Lee struggles or gets hurt I think green is the starter but they will still get Tmart 5 to 10 plays a game. Which should make for a huge QB battle next year with both probably getting experience this year. Personally I think that Tmart would be such a weapon at WR but i dont see that happening unless he does not win the job next year.

I dont understand everyones love with Tmart. I know he is talented but to think he his gunna step in and tear up texas or the rest of the big 12 is crazy. And then people will say he will never be any good after he throws a couple picks like green. He has done nothing yet. Its one thing to be talented and have a good camp its another to read a def and make it work in a big game in front of 85,000 people. I think he can be good, same with cody. I think Zac will start and Tmart will have some special plays for him but cody is the #2 if you ask me. Everybody has written him off bc he struggled some during his FRESHMAN year. So did barkley at USC who was the #1 qb in that recruiting class. As did T Pryor his freshman year at ohio State. Just like most freshman will when they play. I just want the guy who will give us the best chance to win this year and that is Zac lee. I would bet money on it that Tmart is not the starter. Anyone who thinks otherwise let me know I will be more than happy to take your money!

I agree. Traditionally, the shirts have always been handed out before the season. I think Bo will return to that as soon as he feels like his system/culture is in place. Hopefully that starts this year. I dont think so. Bo says everything is earned, every position he says his earned regardless of last year. I know some people obviously are not getting pushed for their job like crick, niles, and prince. But I think he will make them earn the blackshirts every year. First game of conf play if you ask me.

Rivals says that his coach has been talking to the huskers alot and that antoine says the huskers are definetly getting a official visit. Said that the coaches told him he is one of our top targets. No date set yet. Please!! we need some WR's after not many last year and none so far this year.

Yes technically he would..... but he has a redshirt. So the earliest he could play in FBS would be 2011. Transfering to a FCS school would grant him eligiblity immediately. Nope he wouldnt because he graduated and could transfer without sitting out a year because he would be a graduate student.
