I cant imagine what this family is going through i have a 5 year sis and an 8 year old brother and couldnt even imagine what it would be like to lose one let alone your son. my prayers are for this boy and his family.

What makes you think he his going to start? you got any info or a source. Or are you just saying it?

Actually Helu practiced without the green jersey today, full contact. No word on Kyler Reed when Bo was asked probably equals done for the year. Did Dennard practice? Unfortunately don't know. Sounds like he will play, but he's got a bum shoulder that's really bothering him. I really hope Gomes is put in his place if not, West has seemingly made 0 progress this year, I think he needs to be at a safety position in spring ball. Ya but on the scout team lol

Is that you Cody? lol CGREEN17. But i do agree that against OK they need to let him play if that means take off and run or go deep let him do it. no wr screens either we all know how that back fires on us. He is going to make mistakes but hopefully he can also makes some plays.

I think we are getting better to. I think Bo knows what he is doing and is building this program back up the right way. I think he is doing it so we become a top program and stay up there like the past. Not one year here than we suck then a couple years later we are good. I think they way he plays the best players and doesnt mind sitting a senior or starting a freshman and the way he redshirts players who need it will all pay off. Look at all the Juco's you know who recruited and look how that worked out other than Purify and Zac Taylor. They had two years then we would suck and when they were here we won what 9 games.

Is Dennard ok because I think we need him West is not that good! Did you see him on that pass interference call he wasnt looking for the ball and just ran right at the guy. I hate seeing West out there he always seems to mess up.

I think it is just because we are so young. I also think that we need a new type of offense like floridas or oregon. How many times did they say freshman or redshirt freshman or soph last week during the game. I think we need to look at our team and say that this is a learning year. But that being said so far sitting at 5-3 is not that bad for a learning year. During you know whos learning years we sucked. Bo is just getting his players in here and is now learning he needs to put some input in the offense we will be fine and a 8 or 9 win season for a learning year isnt all bad. After Chris Leak left florida they had a learning year and now look at them.

You are grossly exaggerating Lee's performance under pressure. Lee did both good and bad under pressure. At times he threw great, beautiful passes and at times he threw passes that were an abomination. He was at times a serviceable runner and at times he was tentative. This should not be surprising considering he's a first-year starter. They often struggle. No matter how anyone slices this, the offense as a whole has struggled all year, independent of QB play. Line blocking is not independent of QB play. WRs running poor routes is not independent of QB play. RBs running tentatively is not independent of QB play. They are all pieces of the whole, and all affect each other. Lee has been less than stellar, but he is not the sole reason we lost three games. Pulling Lee for Green does not solve our other problems, as evidenced by the wholesale changes at WR this week. I will support either Lee or Green, whichever guy starts, that's my guy. This business of throwing either one under the bus in support of the other guy is silly. They're both Huskers, and they both need support. I agree with you like I said I backed Lee at the start and have nothing against him obviously its just a game at the end of the day. But I do think that it starts with the line and thats why I would give Green the nod because he can run better and seems like it is harder to bring him down.

Lee has looked shaken due to horrible line play and injured RBs. He did however need to work on getting rid of the ball sooner. I see us losing more games starting Green at this point than Lee. I think the switch to Green was only done to appease fans. Baylor does not have a good team at all. If Lee had started I bet we would have put up 2 more TDs in the game as well as not having a pick 6. After the Virginia Tech game and how Oklahoma looks now, who would you pick to win the game? my how things change. The only way we could win the Oklahoma is with Lee. A confident Lee that is. And when have you seen a confident Lee against a good team? Not so far this year.

And IMHO we can get all that if we cut the playbook and let these guys perfect the remainder of those plays. How can any team win with a 320 play playbook. I really think this is the root of all our evil. Agreed sir. Why be average at best at all these plays when you could be GREAT at less than half of these. I dont think we need the option back but a offense like oregon or florida would be awesome. You dont see them doing 320 plays.

But to say we are better right now with Green is ludicrous at best. No we are not, and all I have ever asked is (as one poster stated) critique both QB the same. We aren't, Green is getting excuses and passes, whereas Lee got an over abundant of negatives for the same damn thing Last time I checked Vince Young was someone who everyone said couldnt throw very good and he ended up being just fine in college. And it was the kids first start Tommie Frazier didnt come in and all of a sudden light it up either his first couple starts.

not a chance. we can beat KU and KSU and CU with Lee, we lose 3 of the 4 with Green. You have RB to run the ball, but you have to be able to throw and Green cannot do that . 2 years from now we are going to be the VA. Tech or the ohio state of the big 12. great D and avg offense with a QB that can run but can't throw enough to be dominant. Ya and next year with Lee as the starter will be the colorado with Cody Hawkins!!!

Lee cant throw any better than green and at least he wasnt hanging his wr's out to dry. Green hit his wr's in the numbers and it was his first start. Go look at the VT game and tell me that Zac Lee can throw he missed wide open wr's all game and stares down his wr's way to long. Lee looks scared in the pocket and throws the ball away the whole game I understand you need to throw it away sometimes but he never lets someone try to make a play. At least Cody looks for contact and doesnt look scared out there.

ya like I said I wouldve loved to win and a win is always better but im saying im glad this happened now against VT and not in columbia. Now Zac know what a big game feels like and will only improve as will the rest of the offense. Helu is fine though lol

I think the players can learn alot by this lost and I dont think they will like the taste of a lost like this after the tech game we bounced back and I think we are way more talented this year. Also Zac Lee will play better and be the starter all year. Im glad this happened before conference play and his first test wasnt down in columbia against mizzouri. Dont get me wrong I would of loved to win but I think we will be a better team because of this and will go out and win the north now and 10 wins still could happen if are defense plays like they did.

Was just watching the texas game from this weekend and it said they had 53 straight sellouts at home. I had to laugh at how far behind they are on us. was just wondering who was second and if they were even close? Also Garrett Gilbert looked good for them.

i hope that he will be here for the rest of his career. but i was wondering if teams would approach him or think that it was Bo's defense?

Hey guys im new on here and hope we have a great season! I was reading about watson probably not being here after next year if the offense is good again. But i was wondering about Carl Pelini if the defense was good a couple years would teams look at him for a head coaching job or would they think that it was all Bo's doing and not look at him? Im not asking if you think he would leave just if teams would give him any credit?
