  1. I hope AM isn’t run into the ground prior to the conference schedule (yes I felt this way before the Gebbia transfer). Don’t want him banged up against Akron and Troy and not be healthy for the end of September and beyond.

  2. If he has indeed withdrawn I wish the kid the best.  I was looking forward to the competition in practice to keep AM on his toes. I don’t think it changes anything for how the offense uses AM, but not having a solid #2 behind him may make them think twice after he takes a couple hits.

As we continue to recruit multiple QBs we should expect transfers going forward. No one will be gifted a job or afforded the opportunity to be the only QB recruited.

  3. At what point does the NCAA weigh in. When do they punish a school for negligent/bad conduct from the football stafff.

Sell shoes, textbooks, or tattoos and they are all over. Kid dies and the program mistreats it’s players......silence.

Football needs to go away for a while. Those kids should  be released and football re-evaluated.  This should have been how Baylor was handled as well.

  4. The thing that bothered me the most is she reached out to her own parents and did not get support. While it's wrong I get OSU trying to get her not to talk, Earle Bruce and company visiting her to dissuade her from reporting, but her parents?  Damn.

it reminds me of Nicole Simpson.  Multiple police calls with no arrest and her family telling her to stay with OJ because he was funding there lifestyle and gave them a Hertz business.

Kanye is a huge influential star among the black community and was once thought as a future presidential candidate for the Democratic Party until this week and now he’s getting attack for his thoughts and views. I love it how he’s not backing down and I respect that.

If you want to continue getting triggered in a thread that I started than maybe just stay out of it if you don’t like what I post in here :dunno

People saying you love that he is not backing down.  I think it’s more that he shares their opinion AND he’s not backing down. I say that because there are many people unapologetically against President Trump and you hear people say celebrities should keep their opinions to themselves and athletes should stick to sports.

If he didn't bow out gracefully, he wouldn't be there tonight. Just goes to show he meant what he said that him and his wife loved Lincoln and were/are comfortable here. Even though it wasn't a fit professionally, I think MR might become a Nebraska fan for life as awkward as it may seem right now.

Lol - Mike Riley and NU are going to be that divorced couple that live in the same house but separate rooms and go to events together and claim its for the kids sake.

Imo, Wisconsin can put it to anyone with their style. They seriously may just sneak themselves into a National Championship (Which may be good for the Huskers, having the NC in their division).

Wouldn't be shocking for UCF to hang with anyone outside the Top 6.

I for one hope they lose.  I don’t want to see OSU again, buttery are already a name.  If WI makes it and shows well, that’s just another team to compete with for top recruits. They already develop talent well, we don’t need them selling recruits on the ability to actually win too.

I do like him period.  So I have a bias where he is concerned.  I just think that he does that stuff on purpose to get a rise out of listeners.  I mean, he has to do the same thing day in and day out so he would have to find a way to continue to make their show interesting.  It's just my take.  You may be totally correct but I have to entertain that idea. It intrigues me.

I guess if I take a step back and look at Damon as a person and Scott as a person I see two adults. Not two college aged kids anymore. These two had a relationship.  I really find it hard to believe that Damon would hold a grudge against Scott for something that happened what, 20 years ago?  I think they are both above all of that crap.  But there is always someone who will bring it up, usually a listener and they will again have to deal with it.  You can bet Scott will be asked about it when he gets here.  I hope he says, 'Not going there.  It's a dead issue.'  or something to that effect.

I didn’t really hear any negative in his commentary. He and Sharpe kind of have a thing going. Sharpe is all the way in with Frost and Damon is providing buts and what ifs.

It is interesting that the LP thing is brought up because I believe Matt Vrzal made reference of it on Monday (Bahe’s show).  I also don’t think Jay Forman is super excited about Frost the man, but all three seem to be on board with Frost the coach.

Damon to me seems concerned that everyone is saying there is only one guy that can fix this.

Please don’t hate me for this, but if Frost is not the savior (I knocked on wood), and it doesn’t work out(knocked again), I think it is a valid question to ask then what.

I have decided people that live down south are a bunch of soft pu$$@@@. Good lord its a little cold weather. Toughen up

While that may be true, I also hear lots of people complain about the humidity down south.

I think people are just comfortable with what they know and where they chose/or have to live.

Correct.  Not necessarily contacting their personal employment representatives but think about how many people you would have to contact if you were moving 1500 miles away in 10 days.

They wouldn’t need to leave right away. Once hired they will be hitting recruiting hard until signing day anyway. If they have kids they will finish out the semester.

Also the coaches will be accomadted just fine until they can find housing.

I listen to Sharp and Benning and like to listen to Husker Doc Talk.  That is all I really listen to regularly.  I will sometimes listen to Bahe.  Not a huge fan though.  I just don't like his perspective on Nebraska football.

Unsportsmanlike Conduct was absolutely great when Severe and Kuglar were doing the show.   The Hour of Hate on Thursday or Friday afternoon was great.  Bishop and the other Moran they have on there now are just not very good.

You made the unsportsmanlike posting of the day.

  12. Considering there is not a natural D1 recruiting base in state, and I do not believe the talent is there on the roster to win right away in 2018.  It is my belief that we should get a coach that is currently recruiting nationwide from a current Midwest school.

Gary Patterson can recruit Texas, but will those players he is currently pulling leave TX to come to NU.  For Frost he is currently recruiting the state of FL, but not MIA, FSU, FSU talent.  He is working wonders with the talent he is getting, but will the talent that would typically go to the top three now, come with him to NU?  It is good to see the two NE player on the roster getting snaps for Frost.

  13. -Who are we assuming will be coaching NU and then decide to the option?

-What assurances for time do they get to recruit to this system? Current Oline cannot run option. Wrs may be able to block, but I can't see them staying happy blocking.

-What kind of OL/WR (recruiting classes) will we get with a switch to option. I can't see us being as deep at receiver if pass attempts decrease. Do you see Stud O linemen signing here to run option?

IMO in today's game if you run the option it's an admission that you are lacking in areas. Yes those teams will jump up and bit someone every once in a while, but its not a consistent offense for the  national stage.
