Guys, I hear what you're saying and all the confidence which is great and all, but I need Nebraska to show me something first. This is a big game and Nebraska has not faired well in big games against "tougher" opponents. Not only that, but they have also had the habit of losing games they shouldn't (see Northwestern 2011 and Holiday Bowl 2010).

At this point in the season this team is too inconsistent and makes way too many dumb mistakes to win the conference.

Just wondering what the current feeling in husker nation is for Bo to win a game against a tougher opponents or win the conference? Or, is 9 or 10 win suffice?

I've noticed a trend that last couple of years where it seems that we always have to lose one we shouldn't. Last year it was Northwestern. In 2010 it was the Holiday bowl against Washington.

Was UCLA that game? This is something I wish would get fixed.

Look, the reality is Nebraska has and will always be a tough place to recruit to. Selling the kids on tradition and facilities to high school kids is a tough sell. Granted, they will get a good education too, but you can get that at a lot of colleges. Let's face it, when you put Lincoln, Nebraska up against other areas you can see how a kid might choose to go somewhere else.

I'm gonna say we're out.

Poor tackling....To Alonzo Whaley I would especially say, anytime you wanna decide to start tackling soon would be really nice....Your tackling is horrible.

The swing pass to the RB was money for UCLA all night. Nebraska had no answer for that particular play.

Offense couldn't convert a third down to save their life.

That was my first Nebraska game and I left completely dejected.

I had Nebraska going 10-2 or 9-3, but with this defense 8-4 looks more likely. I have been supportive of Bo up until today. I think my skepticism about him as a long-term option took a hit today. It seems with him we always have to lose one we shouldn't.

I'm gonna say that he makes it to 60%+ but barely. The work he did in the offseason and continuing to work on his mechanics during the season will be the difference. I agree that if he hits 60% or better we go to a BCS bowl. If he makes it to 70% then we're talking much bigger things.

That Brett Maher is in for a long week at practice and the defense better improve before they play the likes of Denard Robinson (Michigan) or Braxton Miller (Ohio State) or they will get lit up I'm afraid. Alonzo Whaley needs to learn how to tackle this week too.

Great performance by Martinez today. The pass to Steven Osborne was absolutely beautiful.

Watching for the waitresses at my watchsite to bring me more food and drinks. Actually, I'll be watching Taylor's throwing motion and the play of both lines.

The Huskers gave up 38 points to Washington and the offense didn't seem to be clicking against Fresno State. I'm wondering if anyone thinks we're overranked at #9?

Will recruiting be affected by Tressel's resignation on recruits speculation that Bo could bolt for tOSU? I think it may have some impact until someone is selected but how much I don't know. What say you?

Purely speculation but Bo has to be on their list. He's a defensive genius and has done wonders turning thing around at Nebraska and has ties to tOSU. I hope he doesn't go, but the temptation to coach at his alma mater and get the program back on track may be too good to pass up.

My wife is a teacher at Mariner HS where KeiVare is a student. All she has told me is that he is a good kid and gets good grades.

I'm surprised how quick many of you are to give him a "pass" on this. I think this is a PR nightmare that could've been easily avoided. Don't make a promise you don't intend to keep.

Look, I like Pelini as much as anyone, but this is an epic fail he will have to address.
