You do have to admit that it's almost impossible picking any Husker out for mvp honors. They are loaded!!! If the Huskers win it the most defensive player will be some ashat named Bebee!!!

Just between you and me..... KMA Texas!!! The Sooners are a class bunch and there is a tremendous amount of respect between our programs. This is a win win outing for both team's fan base. Texas will never get the kind of respect that these programs have. Texas is becoming Notre Dame. All that money, all those tv sets, all those recruits, and becoming a very average program.

Boise is probably a better team than OU. Basically what folks keep complaining about is the fact they didn't play teams like Kansas, Iowa State, Colorado and even the Horns each week!!!

Close games are generally decided by turnovers and penalties. Our ace in the hole is probably Alex but that stupid penalty that gives or takes away a first down or that poorly thrown pass will probably decide the score.

It sure is easy looking back and only remembering the good stuff. How did TMart do against SDSU and Texas? In fact against Missouri and even though injured, A&M? I am sure that Pelini isn't going to put up with much more of this crap if the rumors are true. To be honest with you, I'm starting to look at him a bit different myself.

OU may be somewhat limited in the run game without D Murray. Their leading tackler (Lewis) got injured last night also and I have no idea on his status. Basically this time of year everybody is playing hurt. I think the Huskers matchup well against the Sooner's strengths ie our pass defense vs OU's pass offense and the fact that they rely on it especially if they are missing Murray or he is not 100%. But as is usual it will be decided in the trenches. It's going to be a great game and one that nobody can give an accurate guess on. I'll take a shot in the dark and say Huskers 23/ Sooners 20.

Without a doubt Alex is one of Nebraska's all time greats and not just as a kicker. How many games has he been basically responsible for flipping the field or kicking long field goals to save the day? Nothing gets the crowd on their feet like Alex pinning someone down inside the 5 and hearing the crowd as the Blackshirts run out! My all time favorite on Youtube is still his 57 yarder against Colorado. I can't think of a play that gets me hyped like that one does!!! Hearing Matt Davison say "Get there" and the crowd exploding!!!! What a memorable moment in Husker history.......

I sure don't expect him to stand on the podium long nor give a long winded congratulation speech.

The Huskers and the Sooners in the final ccg..... Regardless of the outcome we've already won!! It no longer has anything to do with the Big 12 other than the print on the trophy. If we win I would like to see the players put on hats that say 2010 Big 8 Champions!!

For someone who does not like to be in the spotlight he sure has a way of making it there. As a Packer fan I used to think a lot of Favre but we've all seen his integrity stripped away. Unlike TMart, Favre likes to hear himself speak. Between receivers and qb's it gets old. Drama queens!!! TMart likes to text that he is a dick. Favre send pics of his!!!

A complete lack of professionalism being displayed by Bebee. I did enjoy TO's statements concerning the subject. Actually we can all thank Bebee for throwing a little more fuel in the tank of the Big Red machine.

I'm glad that several Seniors got to not only play but contribute in their final game in Lincoln. Getting info on injuries out of Bo is not an exact science. Nile's injury during practice makes the news that same evening. Lee's injury happened when? Rumors have it that walls are stronger than fists! Just glad to see him get some snaps.

Probably one of the last times we'll see you around these parts BeachBuffs. In general you've been ok around here and especially for a Buff fan! Hope for a good clean game without all the controversy that both teams have endured this season.

I remember several years back when we all basically were resigned to the fact that the Buffs were going to spank us. As it turned out we beat them by some 30 points and they finished the game without their student section. I'm hoping that the Huskers regroup and the defense controls the game. Once again we all have little faith in our offense or this would just be a scrimmage.

They probably think a little different in Kansas! Actually I get more of a feeling of depression after the Labor Day weekend as summer has basically passed. Luckily the football season starts so I don't feel so bad. Those Callahan years almost had me practicing on my knot tying skills!!!

Two tight ends, Legate, Helu and Burkhead under center. Pound away. I don't even have enough confidence in Green to make handoffs.

Hopefully Burkhead has been throwing some balls in practice this weekend. I'm still waiting for a throw out of the wildcat.
