    Let me translate the bolded:

"I know that Frost is coming back because he is a family friend and Frost (or his family) has told us.  But even with knowing this, I decided to come to HB (a board that I have never posted on before 2 months ago) and post summaries of Husker/Gator/Vol message board insiders as well as random twitter posts."

  2. Jesus people.  If you don't want in on the rumor IGNORE THE THEAD AND THIS WHOLE SECTION OF THE WEBSITE.  Rumors are entertaining for me to listen to.  It's not like we are taking these words with anything more than a grain a salt.  It's fun to speculate on, nothing more than that.

  3. Word (rumor) on the street is that we have solidified our next DC in current WSU DC Alex Grinch.  I'll be honest that I wasn't familiar with his resume until today.  Discuss people.  Also, my apologies if this was in a different thread and I missed it.

EDIT: The Rumor is that Scott is showing interest in hiring him as DC if he were to accept the NEB job.

I have not read every post, so apologies if this question has come up before:
How do you think a hire of Scott Frost (and Company) would affect this year's recruiting class. Don't you think that almost **anybody** previously looking at Nebraska would see Scott Frost as an even better reason to come here? In other words, would we lose anybody (unless Frost's team didn't think they were a good fit). On the flip side, are there any good recruits that Frost & Co. might convince to leave Florida and come with them from their list of recruits, that were not on Nebraska's radar?

HOL addressed this today.  They asked recruits what they think of a possible coaching change and what they think of scott frost.  Many kept quiet and didn't respond, but the ones that did generally said they were still huskers and we going to see it through and evaluate as changes are made.  Most were positive and still enthusiastic about being a Husker, despite Riley moving on.  One even said a Husker coach told them that Riley would most likely be let go at the end of the season.

I just don’t understand why people are always throwing these numbers out there? Are we really supposed to believe that these numbers would get out? For me, every time I see someone throw out contract numbers right now I discredit it. No chance that information is known by more than 3 or 4 people and they are not letting that get out.

    Hence... the rumorville section.

SE is an a-hole and that isn't news.  Bo was right about it and Bo is an a-hole too.  We all knew SE was a joke just like we all knew Riley was a joke.  None of this is news.

I disagree.  we may new the SE wasn't fostering a good environment for coaches to be their best, but I doubt anybody outside of North Stadium knew that it was to this extent.  Getting these details for me as a fan helps me understand why things have been so toxic since SE came in.  It's one thing to get the vibe that things just aren't working but when you hear that they spent 100k to bring in people to teach our coaches how to implement a defensive philosophy that they don't agree with is mind bogglingly reckless as an athletic director.
