    Dear Adidas,

Don’t F it up like Notre Dame.

I really dig those and I usually hate Under Armour’s alts. Either way, I think we can both agree adidas won’t even try something as creative as that.

It would probably be a dust off of our 2016  alts just change a few colors around and call it good.

Like I said, he has responsibility in it himself, but hard to argue the media wasn’t against him when the media leaked a recorded conversation he thought was private

That’s not being against him. That’s doing their job.

They’ll have to fight off my Brownies first! Which they’ve probably already done as a precautionary measure.

We already have a Cable Guy! There just isn’t enough backboards to go around.

Sidenote: did y’all ever notice Lou Holtz Jr. in the credits for writing The Cable Guy? It’s no wonder he had a lisp!

Ozigbo had 1 carry over 20 yards last year (28). If someone doesn't consider him a "big back", then what does he bring to the table that another back isn't. I think that's some of the mental gymnastics we all do when we like a guy.

I'm not a fan of Wilbon or Ozigbo. They're replacement level backs.

I’ve always thought of him as a Curtis Martin type. In 2004, Martin had 1,697 yards but his longest carry was 25 yards.

Martin is my favorite running back though, so let’s not take it as I’m saying he’s as good as Curtis Martin. Nowhere close. Obviously.

I still have the same sense of direction I had before I started relying on GPS. I just don't memorize individual streets/locations in the same way - I still always know which direction I'm going??

As far as apples to oranges - why can't fruit be compared?

    Fine.

It’s like comparing apples to the holocaust.

Its something I go back and forth on. It is cool for these kids to have their moment in the limelight but the issue is some of them come off as such pre-madonna's that they never bring the right mentality in on day 1.

Not saying Mycah is that way but we saw that with guys like Keyshawn. They loved all the hype but when it came to working their butt off to be great, they werent interested.

Not saying a hype video=lack of work ethic but part of the reason I am very ok with Frost just reeling in "3 stars" because I assume he is going after guys who will work day in and day out.

Is that like before she was the material girl? I guess if it’s wool, that means they’re sheep?

    Makes sense.

At some point under Callahan, Pelini, and Riley, it also seemed real and different and nothing at all like whatever was before.

Hindsight is 20/20 and time reveals evidence and gives a clearer picture. It's fine to drink the kool-aid and be so sure that everything will turn out awesome - it's also fine to wait for results before you get carried away with excitement.

I can only think of one time since Solich that I was all-in on our success: 2010 after Washington/KSU/Missouri.

While I’ve been confident plenty of times, there’s always been a “if this can happen, then we’ll be great” aspect to it.

Mosai Newsom said, in reference to HC Scott Frost: "The dedication he has and the passion that he has is awesome."

This ^^^^.  This ^^^^ is the kind of infectious, positive attitude we need.  It is often said players take on the demeanor of their head coach.  These young men aren't dumb.  If they see their head coach and position coaches taking the lazy route, not putting in the work, they'll follow suit.  Likewise, when they see their head coach and position coaches working hard, going that extra mile, pushing out those extra reps, players will also take those traits on as well.  And that's what's been missing at Nebraska for probably the last 7 years or so.  That's why I am so confident in this team.  Hell, I am just a fan and I'd run through a brick wall for Coach Frost.

So, you’re not just drinking the Kool-aid, you ARE the Kool-aid.

No, I am correct, as usual.  I am not familiar with the specifics of the Omaha city council proposals or Brown's public advocacy against new laws restricting landlords and employers' rights to hire and lease to those they may choose.  But prohibiting practicing Christians from exercising their 200 plus years long Constitutional rights to free religious views is certainly NOT somethingh that any public employer has a right or obligation to do.   And why, if all the Brown bashers do not object to his rehiring by NU, is there all the discussion?    Either you approve of Ron Brown being employed or you do not.

You’re absolutely correct. None of us are arguing otherwise.

I suggest you read through the thread again if you think that we are.
