Cowherd also said if Brett Favre came back this year and played he would do a show in his underwear. Anyone know if he actually did that?

It's FINAL! Suh has at least 1 first place vote.
121658
107936
Just got on there to vote, and saw that it was final, but their numbers are different now
Suh - 121,664 - 18%
Spiller - 107,937 - 16%
I like that his lead grew, but WTF?
Now Suh has 121,665. Weird.

I live in Florida and work around some SEC homers. A few of them are Florida fans and the others are Alabama fans. With that being said, what does everybody think about the undefeated teams like TCU, Boise St and Cincinnati? Do they deserve a shot or because they are not in a 'major' conference do they deserve just a lesser BCS bowl?
I'm all for these smaller schools getting the opportunity even though they don't play in a 'tough' conference. These SEC homers feel their 6-6 and 7-5 teams are better than these undefeated teams. I also want to note that these schools are not flukes as they are year in and year out 10 win ball clubs (at least as of late). I understand the SEC, Big 12, Big 11 and Pac 10 are all bigger conferences but a lot of that is based on location and demographic. A school like TCU has no chance of a 5 star recruit from a Miami high school with schools like Florida, Alabama, FSU, Miami etc recruiting them.
Just curious to get others views on this.
GO BIG RED!
Thing is, how many of those have seen any of them play. From the games I've seen, I'd say TCU is the best looking team in the country. Granted I'm a TCU fan, but you can't deny they have the speed to keep up with any team in the country, not to mention their defense. Boise State has had a few close calls, but their win over Oregon was impressive. Cincy's offense is impressive, but their defense leaves a lot to be desired. Basically, I think they deserve a shot over a 1 loss team from the other conferences, but since there will likely be 4 undefeated teams, obviously 2 of them won't get a shot.

For all of you who are foaming at the mouth for Saturday to get here like me, a little bit more to tide you over.
This episode has highlights from the CU game, as well as a recruiting segment where they interviewed Chase Rome and talked about Bronson Marsh. Cool interview with Rome... did not know his dad taught MMA. Can see how he would use that on the D Line. Quality kid. Also, I did not realize how valuable that final TD drive vs. CU was for us. The game never felt that close. I didn't realize that if Rex hadn't run one in to give us our last TD, that last bomb could have tied the game. Scary stuff.
Also, at the end of the episode, they break down TU. Gotta love the NCAA 10 prediction for the final score. They allow the video game to simulated the game (they do not play as either team, just let the computers get it on). In the end, the game said Roy would run for 183 yards and NU would win 28-9. Screw the media predictions. A video game told us we will win. It will come to pass... GBR!
Yep I saw that. I actually won the first trivia question,
It'd be kinda cool to see that happen.

Maybe my Vikings can trade up and get him . Oh, wishful thinking...
If he absolutely had to go to one of those teams, I would prefer the Bucs. I think they have the best chances out of all of those teams to get back to a play-off contending team.
We'll see, though. That's the thing that sometimes sucks about being a high NFL draft pick. You're not going to get picked up by the best team or a team that will take you far, in most cases. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last defensive player to be drafted first in a draft was Demarrio Williams for the Texans. He had a lot of potential but given that the Texas never go anywhere every year, you really don't hear about this guy (or see him) being one of the better defensive players in the NFL.
Williams was drafted by the Falcons and had a good four seasons with them. Then he was traded to Kansas City where he is now.
I think he means Mario Williams.

Suh is obvious...
but first off I don't see Prince going because he still has a lot to learn. Dillard and Asante will be mid round picks. I could see Asante being a guy that Scouts fall in love with because he just passes the eye ball test.
No one on offense will get drafted... Hickman isn't as good as Slauson or Murtha and both of them went undrafted.
Slauson was drafted by the Jets. 6th round I believe.

Well during the NU/Colorado game, the announcers said that O'Hanlon, Suh and Crick had all won National Defensive Player of the Year awards this year, and they said it more than once.

Good to have you. TCU is actually my second favorite college football team, as I was thisclose to going to school there back in '03. I've followed them and been a fan ever since. Nothing would be sweeter than knocking off Texas, not only to get the Big XII Championship, but also send TCU to the National Championship. So I'll be rooting doubly hard.

I'm pretty sure I went to college with this guy. Either that, or it was his twin brother who also has a lazy eye. He was way older than everyone, stayed in the dorms, and earned the nickname "Crazy Eyes". He even had the same sense of humor as that dude.

I noticed before the game that it was Mendoza jumping to the top of the huddle of players instead of Dennard, so I figured Dennard wasn't going to be playing.
-
Keanu Reeves might be there.
I also heard that Jim Carrey is coming back for the game since he loved being there while shooting "Yes Man"
Too bad he didn't come to Memorial Stadium. The shots with him were shot at the Coliseum in L.A.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions obviously, but i really dont see the O being a whole lot better. The O-line could maybe be worse with hickman leaving.. The Wr's might find their strides, but most of them just arent fitting into the schemes and what is being taught. Everyone thought Paul was going to be great because of ? ? ? oh yea the 4 star hype we all heard about. If he played in another state i wonder where he ranks. The TE's could be good. I think everyone saw if we use the TE, it has the chance to spread the field, and open up the running game. On that same note i think McNiel could be a very good tight end at the next level, just me but he runs good routes and has good hands. (not real sure about speed or blocking as i dont pay much attention to TE's blocking).
The D has the chance to be pretty good with Gomes and Dennard at the corners and hopefully what will be a faster line, not that this years is slow but with Merideth at 235 i thought i heard, he needs speed which he looks to have. The backers are the ? in my opinion. We have heard alot about Fisher and Compton, but havent seen much production in Big Twelve play. I think maybe next year we could be hearing ERIC MARTIN'S name a little more than on kickoff's!!
Special teams i just wished we had a good punter! Henery catches it with his chest not his hands! Poor guy is too skinny for all that..
I think Caputo will fill his shoes quite nicely.
As far as Henery goes, if you think he's bad, well I guess you're just delusional. He's saved our tail more than once on punts that completely change the field position.

You could watch it on espn360.com. Of course I could understand if you wanted to watch it on your tv.

While the Big 12 North champion, a division that is 1-4 overall in the BCS and hasn’t won a BCS Bowl since 1999, just has to go 5-3 or 6-2 in a mediocre conference to get the opportunity to go to the BCS.
Not that I'm proud of it, but Kansas won the Orange Bowl in '07 did they not?

Our defense is very good. In fact, they've given up even fewer that the stats show. Gabbert was six inches short at the end of the half. The brilliant backwards WR screen pass that we stared at while Tech's slow defender took 80 yards on us had nothing to do with the defense, and the same thing with Green's pick six against Baylor.
But I'm not convinced our defense is great yet. I think we still need more talent at DB and LB before we will really be great. If we hold Oklahoma to 10 points I'll change my mind.
Not to mention the safety of Alex Henery at Misery.

So it's going to determine who's better between Suh and Crick?
-
I'd hate to think of it like that, cuz I'm a Jets fan, and it tore my heart out. To me, the Jets are a lot like the Huskers this year. Started out nice, have been slumping lately, have a great defense and so/so offense/special teams.
Man you cant catch a break. First that ass clown royal f's your college team then he shows up on your Pro team. If i were you i would quite watching football for awhile.
Tell me about it. At least he's a better O-line coach than he is a head coach though. So he's not f-ing up the Jets as much.

Speaking of our playbook, that touchdown play looked a little familiar.
