I was told Hoiberg or bust.
If he doesn’t sign, does that mean we’re going the Oscars route and just won’t have a coach?!!?

How did all the mania about Keyshawn Johnson’s son pan out?
That was sarcasm. Should have tagged it, I guess.

Offensively, maybe. Defensively I think Miles is fairly decent.
Part of the problem was Jim Molinari was brought in and he never has been an offensive mind. He has helped with defense but the other guys they have brought in are more recruiters it seems like. They never brought in a guy who Miles could trust to let lose on the offense.
I certainly agree Smith is a better coach.
Timmy might not have been able to trust them to lose, but the fan base sure could.

I don't think so.
Out of curiosity can you name any other program who's had two home games in the last 5 years where the entire arena stood for the entire game?
UW-Oshkosh.
I thought everyone knew that! So what if it was only 83 people in attendance.

Seems to be legit. Blue check mark, pictures with the same Nebraska soccer player.

2015 Browns’ assistant d-line coach = 2019 Nebraska d-line coach
2016 Nebraska d-line coach = 2019 Browns’ assistant d-line coach
What a tumultuous time both teams endured to make that (sorta) trade. I sure hope it was worth it!
EDIT: I’m an idiot. Parrella didn’t come until 2016.

How about...
a 300+ room 5* hotel, er, dormitory, with built in classrooms or video rooms to "attend" classes virtually, (formerly) off-campus (to the north is room, right? big price will be buying up all those houses) with ride service to the stadium. The extra rooms are for guests, mainly so their parents can stay for a large part of the year. The penthouses will be for the big spending boosters and 5* recruits.
Oh yeah, and some modifications to the stadium as well.
Or to house opposing teams overnight when Mother Nature foils our plans.

I agree. This in no way should be prosecuted as child porn. My comments are about what his status should be as it pertains to playing football at UNL.
I'll admit, I am looking at this through the lens of having a teenage daughter, and what my reaction would be if he did this to her to hurt/shame her.
I think there’s definitely a chance possession of child pornography is pursued.
The revenge porn factor does not hinge on him posting it vs. sending it to the girl; it’s the fact that he used it to shame her.

Harry Husker is my homeslice.

Mike Riley looks 5-10 years younger than he did at the end of the 2017 season. Just shows y’all how well we have it, now that we don’t have to see the strain.

It might just be me but I can't see any chance of Matt Davison being hired. I get he played and that he does the games (I think) but coaching is so much more than that.

How about Scott Frost?
Close. The guy on the other end of the flea kicker.

Zac Taylor doesn't get the attention he deserves. That'll probably change after the Bengals hire him.

oh so the proven NFL HC? lol my bad
He's one loss away from .500 in the NFL. He stuck around the league for awhile, but his performance as HC certainly wasn't worth $5 million. Although when you're Illinois football, you have to overpay to make the job attractive.

Are we talking like the Liberty Bell or a Salvation Army Bell? He better not try to throw a Kenny Bell, he’s bound to get laid out.

Husker Coaching Hires: “The Pick Of The Litter”
in Husker Football
Posted
I’m gonna try to think of erstwhile careers.
1997 - Well, if we weren’t gonna hire Solich, that probably means TO doesn’t retire. So that’s a no.
2003 - Bill Callahan, on paper, would have been a good hire, somewhere else. He definitely didn’t fit with the culture though. At all.
2007 - As far as Nebraska goes, Pelini was the best hire.
2013 - I’ll admit, I was excited about the Mike Riley hire. I would have still said he wasn’t the best hire. Scott Frost seems logical today, but he hadn’t been a head coach. We had just been through that with Pelini, who I’d say his greatest downfall was his inability to delegate.
Knowing Gary Andersen was available, he would have been what seemed like a better hire. Jim McElwain would have been a solid hire, at the time.
2017 - Yes.
