  1. on a positive note, good to know that the coaches are hittin the old recruiting trail. i hope the team continues to work hard and prepare themselves for what looks to be an exciting bowl matchup with michigan, iowa, ucla etc.. :restore2:bat

  2. I've heard from a couple of guys that "claim" (dont kill the messenger please.) that tennessee has been bashing us to recruits. They also went on to say that they have no class. I think its safe to say that every coach in the country has bashed our program. no surprise there.

I think our future is looking good. We layed down in a lot of games last year. This year we've only laid down against kansas IMO. I think the kids want to play for coach callahan and things are looking better and better. My sunshine pump for the day.

  3. despite the caps, i agree. all the complaining has pretty much driven me from posting on a regular basis. every thread is negative and more negativity is not what this program needs right now. lets say if/when a recruit comes to these message boards and he sees 50 "fire callahan" or "countdown to new head coaches blah blah etc. etc." what do you think said recruit is going to think?

HEY GUESS WHAT!!!!!! the athletic department is not going to buy up callahan's contract!! they are stretched too far for cash as it is with all the additions and whatnot.

  4. aura's? are you guys shrooming? when i look at charlie weis i see a guy who may very well be the only man in college football who could stand a chance against mangino in a fat contest.

i am a Callahan supporter but i have my grievances with him. I think he should let the offensive coordinator call more of the plays. Norvell is in the booth and can see what happens on the field better.

  5. cutting off someone's air supply has such a finality to it. he should have just tossed the meter maid on top of a car or something. he's a big guy use that strength!

  6. speak for yourself. i wanted a win...

i'm feelin pretty negative after that mistake made by Lekevin Smith. on the stupidity scale that ranks right below Chris Webber in my humble opinion.

i'll be bitter about this one for a long long time.

  7. "And maybe saying we should have lost to Pitt is too strong. I'll say no one should have won that game. It was the ugliest piece of crap masquerading as a football game I've seen in a long, long time."

lol thats goin on the fridge...

coach callahan likes to be predictably unpredictable. whatever he should do against you he wont. he has a tendency to attack your strengths a little too much.

as for msnbc picking the huskers, i wasnt aware that msnbc has ever heard of a team outside the big ten and south bend... wow... im impressed. hope this doesnt jinx us. i was completely satisfied with everybody thinking we were going to lose then we win!
