  1. Made me chuckle I would imagine they wouldn't want to play us again... we physically abused them all game to the point of exhaustion.
  2. On offense. Our D has been great all season. Just ask Gabbert's ankle. Thought that was pretty obvious. Nice touch on the injury smack, building that classy rep huh. agreed. im pretty sick and tired of hearing about how suh sat on gabbert's ankle... it's almost getting as bad as KSU cheering on the fact they ripped crouch's head off...
  3. If we play a perfect game 12-10 NU Alex getting late FG ftw. Realistic: 34-17 UT
  4. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!! Wait... does this mean?????? SUH IS LEADING THE HEISMAN RACE!!!!
  5. McCoy is getting most votes/hour by a long shot - watch out.
  6. http://promo.espn.go.com/espn/contests/the...vote/2009/index We have to beat McCoy (ESPN). I'm sure ESPN is cheating somehow and trying to catch McCoy to pass Suh by noon on Dec 4th. He got 5,000 votes to Suh's 2,000 votes over maybe 6 hours. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him magically jump to #1 overnight.
  7. Seven posts and you come up with this. Excellent. apparently you guys don't have a good memory those are words out of hawkins mouth himself. I'm a die hard husker Edit: http://www.cornnation.com/2009/11/24/11716...ise-of-colorado "If you took Hawkins' "The worst day as a Buffalo fan is better than the best day as a Husker fan" comment as anything other than political stumping, you need a better sense of humor. And tell me you didn't enjoy his "Go play intramurals brother" rant. Both gave Husker fans a great sense of joy because they gave us so easy a target to hate. "
  8. What is frustrating here is that this team can't put together a consistent, 60-minute effort. I got crap for complaining about this team's effort after the K-State win, but this was no different. Underacheivement? Or a lack of talent? Or poor coaching? Our game plan is what make it seem this way - and our game plan is adjusted around the fact that we have lack of talent. We want to win field position by great punting and great defense. When we finally have them pinned deep, we force them to make a mistake and get a turnover with field position enough that even our offense can get a TD. After we get a TD our offense's job is to burn time - run run run run until the clock runs out. This is how we have won virtually every game this year (and we lose only the games where we have fallen behind early). Then if not executed to perfection (offense can't burn time, or D lets them get a few first downs) it seems like our team is completely lackluster. This style of football depends HEAVILY on Alex and the entire defense - and really offers no room for error
  9. Keep up the voting Don't forget to vote on all computers, iPods, phones, nintendo wiis, ps3, nintendo DS, PSP, anything that connects to the internet and has web browsing capability!
  10. I highly doubt Bo would ever tell a young gentleman to go back to the ghetto to get shot like his bros just did. It takes a very special group of human beings to be this cruel.
  11. Good thing the worst day as a buff is still better than the best day as a husker
  12. I had a problem with the announcers too. The problem is they don't tell the whole story and make him out to be this hines ward player where he doesn't care about the people he's crushing. (although I think hines just plays hard too.. and im a browns fan) After the hit and the "taunt" with OU what they failed to mention is later asante went to the OU bench by himself to personally apologize and make sure the player was ok... He held a very apologetic attitude and looked very sincere on the field, but he wasn't about ot leti t affect his game. I think players like asante should be commended for not adhering to the new "pansy" football rules. Just because players "look" like they are going out of bounds the defense is suppose to stop playing and let them turn up the sideline for extra yards? Why is the offense allowed to be rewarded for extra effort, and the defense penalized with game changing penalties? Personal fouls anymore are called based on how a play LOOKS rather then how the rules are stated. If the QB gets hit hard, it's a penalty, NO MATTER WHAT... shoulder to chest is called for helmet to helmet.... or the dependable roughing the passer. If someone gets hit hard out of bounds so they slide to the benches, that's a late hit. Asante's hit was not only clean - but we need more of it if football fans everywhere want to continue to pride themselves on this being one of the most physical games out there.
  13. CU is the worst... just for having NE plates in boulder automatically gets your car keyed. Their fans are terrible (generalization) and the team is terrible and "the worst day as a buff is better than the best day as a husker". I mean what stadium actually has to stop the game to clear out the student section b/c you are filled with so little class?
  14. OSU vs Penn State LSU vs Bama both those games would likely take preference over NU vs OU
