Teams always look past games no matter what they say, or they just dont care about 3-8 teams. Have any of you played basketball or football and played the worst team in your confernece or state? Those were always my worst games.. You find yourself going down to your oppenets levels.

I will never get over that fumble that costed us the Texas game..

With that said, i dont see alot of playing time, but hope he does well.

Thank goodness someone started a thread analyzing Zac Lee's performance. I can't believe nobody has been talking about this. The lack of conversation about Lee is... weird.

I think watson can be a good playcaller with the right QB, like ganz. So maybe if this kid is mobile like ganz was ( not fast or quick, just has the instinct to know when to take off out of the pocket) he will work our just fine.

May have been talked about before, but does anyone else think that we need to blitz more than we do? I know we have a good to great front four, but the past couple of games it has helped when we bring another guy or two, especially a corner or Dillard up the middle. It makes the opposing QB have to throw the ball out of his hands much faster and is more likely to throw an interception. I feel that we should bring more heat this weekend, especially with QB's that arent great passers like Hansen. Does anyone else feel this way, or does dropping seven into coverage make more sense?

If we cant beat Iowa State or if we have games where we have 8 turnovers, lets not talk about top 15, lets talk about Colorado or Texas!!

I have never been to Boulder to watch a Husker game, so I'm clueless in this regard...

Do you think the altitude will play a big factor in the game?

I assumed Boulder is somewhere in the mountains, but idk.

Boulder is just North West of Denver, so i would guess the elevation is somewhere around 6,000 ft. The only thing it really affect would be the stamina of some players.

If we got OO and Cooper, i wouldnt even need Christmas!!

This dude fails to mention that Jared Crick and Pierre Allen are both Billy C. signed recruits as well. But I think he did that on purpose since it was probably easier to get Crick (Nebraska) and Allen (Colorado) here then the other guys from the states they are from. Dennard is really the only “base” defense starter that wasn’t signed by or committed to Billy C. Even Fisher and Compton were already coming before the firing went down.

BC's players that he recruited can be termed as "sketchy". They had the stars and what not but if you go to rivals and look at how many never were heard of because they either left or didnt pan out. I will take 3 and 4 stars that stay for the 4 of 5 years and develop than the 4 and 5 stars that think they are great and dont being the intensity you need on a team. I have never liked Asante much, but this year, he has shown that you need those type of players to succeed, whether they are as skilled as others who dont really care.

I disagree. I think the B12 South next year will be considerably weaker. Texas loses Colt and Shipley. Two key players for them. OU loses Gresham and Bradford (though Landry will be a good QB). Okie Lite loses Robinson and they've already lost their key receiver. TTU is gonna be...well....TTU. Good but not great. A&M may be better but I don't expect much out of them. Baylor on the other hand, could be a team to be on the look-out for.

 

I think next year is the year the North starts to dominate. MU returns a lot of starters, we return a lot of starters on O and I don't think the losses on D will have as big of an impact and people might think. KSU will probably be better simply because Synder is a good coach. KU is going to be the big question mark in the North simply because Mangino may now be on the hot seat...a rather large hot seat I might add. Colorado...unless they get rid of Hawkins, they're going to be the bottom dwellers next year. I expect ISU to be a better...not much...but better nonetheless.

Stopped reading this when i saw that OU will lose Gresham. I didnt know he played a snap this year.. OU can only go up.

Its a couple weeks away, but Texas is going to be one of those games where you just cant stomach to watch it after half time, maybe not by the score but by the play calling. If watson plays this game not to get blown out, then we can call for his head. McCoy wont throw 5 picks, and he will move the pocket (clearly NU's weakness). I watched him once live this year, and he really isnt all that impressive. He isnt the same Colt that will run wild and play his style. Their O-line isnt all that great though.. But i just hope we play with nothing to loose on offense and hope we never see an option play as long as Lee is at Nebraska

Look there has been a ton of Blue Chippers that have come and seen NU and there are more this weekend. Our class is filling up and the train is leaving. There should only be a couple of more spots left and they will not be around forever. These kids need to pull the trigger or the train will leave without them and they will end up at UTEP or Baylor.

ha like these guys dont have better offers then NU. You must not follow up on recruiting or just think that Nebraska is just that big of a deal

i just hope we can play consistently these next two games. This game just shows you how often upsets happen late in the season. I just hope we win saturday so we can have a shot at Texas.
