I love how one week everyone hates Zac Lee and after not really doing much against kansas he is a king!! Gotta love how people react after one game. I have never liked the guy and never will even if he won a heisman or something. Im glad we burned Greens redshirt for one game against baylor!!

Im not a huge fan of the guy, but atleast he loves big SUHHHH!!

From past experiences with othe DT's from Callahans classes, they dont seem to pan out as well as ends do. Maybe im wrong

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions obviously, but i really dont see the O being a whole lot better. The O-line could maybe be worse with hickman leaving.. The Wr's might find their strides, but most of them just arent fitting into the schemes and what is being taught. Everyone thought Paul was going to be great because of ? ? ? oh yea the 4 star hype we all heard about. If he played in another state i wonder where he ranks. The TE's could be good. I think everyone saw if we use the TE, it has the chance to spread the field, and open up the running game. On that same note i think McNiel could be a very good tight end at the next level, just me but he runs good routes and has good hands. (not real sure about speed or blocking as i dont pay much attention to TE's blocking).

The D has the chance to be pretty good with Gomes and Dennard at the corners and hopefully what will be a faster line, not that this years is slow but with Merideth at 235 i thought i heard, he needs speed which he looks to have. The backers are the ? in my opinion. We have heard alot about Fisher and Compton, but havent seen much production in Big Twelve play. I think maybe next year we could be hearing ERIC MARTIN'S name a little more than on kickoff's!!

Special teams i just wished we had a good punter! Henery catches it with his chest not his hands! Poor guy is too skinny for all that..

with everything thats on the line this weekend i think he'll come out very impressed. our crowd is gonna be even more and intense than the oklahoma game, and he will be watching our d-line dominate. if the huskers win this weekend, i think we make his final 2.

I think we are more of a long shot even with that. Hopefully it's warm!!

I see a good mix of L's on those past Boise St's schedule, which re-enforces my point. Give them a few tougher games, and they're a lot less likely to go unbeaten.

 

I'm not backing Callahan's 2004 team against anyone. All I said was put this year's Husker team against this year's Boise St schedule, and we've basically got one hurdle. Maybe we wouldn't run it, but put any other top 10 or 15 team there and they probably would. You can point out that some of those teams lost to a team worse than Oregon, but if they don't wear down playing other tough games, they have a lot better chance in that one Oregon-type game.

 

And I'm not talking about having maybe 1/2 your schedule being creampuffs. I'm talking about nearly all of it. There's a big difference if you're trying to go unbeaten.

I'm guessing if they fire him that a big name like Gruden or another big name will take the job and most of the recruits will decide to stay. Unlike Nebraksa when most recruits hardly knew who BO was when he was named the coach.

And how many of those QB's have panned out smart ****... Those aren't quality quarterbacks except Green, since we havent been able to see him. I know you have probably played football in your life so you live yours through huskerboard.. And yes i know i could have made that pass to a wide the F*** open reciever. Yea i understand it was a tight end, but anyone who RECIEVES a pass is a reciever.. I didnt have a problem with you so why would you start with 3 in the name. Must be pretty bored right now..
