  1. Always remember that a bullet doesn't care how big you are or about your martial arts training.

Samuel Colt made all men equal...

guns are for sissies who cant fight or too afraid to fight. if you dont want to fight, then keep your nasty comments to yourself. pulling a gun over a parking spot is chicken sh#t!

But throwing a styrofoam cup at someone in a parking garage is a perfectly reasonable response. So long as your dad is friends with the head coach and and promises you a starting spot if you transfer.

  2. Doubt it was some cracked out idiot. Do you think they would have taken the time to write a note. No. They would have just done what they were thinking. It was some douche with a double popped collar that used to "Run his school". Get up early and call his bluff. Be prepared for another note like "Last warning a**hole".

Side note, how is the K-State video you said you were going to be working on? Don't want to see it early, I just remember you saying you had something planned.

  3. Like others have said, it's a litte on the pricier side, but Lazlo's in the Haymarket is a great place for Micro-brews. Try the Collapsar or the Burning Sky; either one of those selections will put you on your ass after a few. But hey your wallet will be lighter so... win/win.

We are all beer fans, what are the best Nebraska brews to try?

Depends on the individuals taste. Dark beer is the Collapsar stout. Burning Sky is an Irish Ale. In fact, just ask the bar tender for a sample of what you want to try and they would be more than happy to let you try a taste for free. They are pretty proud of their stuff.

  4. There's also a mexican place called De Leon's. 24 hour greasy spoon style mexican food. If you guys have a late night/early morning craving and don't feel like Taco Bell, this place is classic. Don't eat it sober though. And take a Taxi - its definitely not downtown.

I thought there was one on O downtown. Right by Harry's Wonder Bar. Coincidence, I think not.

  6. Serious question:

Why is Pelini so closed-mouthed about injuries? No one even knows if Rex broke a bone, had turf-toe, whatever. For 2-3 weeks he's been saying Helu is just fine (except he can't seem to stay on the field)

The Mizzou coaching staff ALWAYS goes into detail about injuries, and I think they're doing the right thing.

I think it was discussed on another thread that it might be a HIPPA violation to discuss player injury without player consent.

  7. I think the discussion between NU Athletics and the board of regents went something like this

NU: This didn't come out of our endowment fund.

    BoR: Oh.

NU: Yeah, I was able to raise 25 extra bucks before we left.

BoR: Where did you get 25 extra bucks?

NU: I sold some stuff, to Pitt.

    Bor: The Blind School?

    NU:(Laughing) Yeah, yeah.

BoR: What did you sell them?

    NU: You know, stuff.

    BoR: What kinda stuff?

NU: Few baseball cards, a sack of marbles, (coughs) Pedey.

BoR: Pedey? You sold the AD to a bunch of blind kids? Tom, wh- he- wha- Pedey didn't even have a head!

NU: Harry, I took care of it.
