i'm glad there arent ne procedure penatlies this game, but burnin three timeouts early really hurts... and it always seems to happen after a first down and momentum starts

i played it on ps2 and the huskers won too, so we got all the consoles taken care of. and its a victory either way... hopefully taylor throws five td's in the real game... hahahaha

To me, I dont think Pitt was as bad as everyone was saying... it took them two or three games in 2004 to get to the level that they were at towards the end of the season... they might have found some ways to win now and i wouldnt be surprised if they gave louisville and west virginia a good fight. they are an end of the season kind of team... hopefully how the huskers are 2 these days

it seemed like against pitt they were getting all their yards on runs the outside but nothing up the middle... that rb was quick, hicks isnt as fast i dont think so it shouldnt be a problem... plus nebraska really didnt get to see any film on the kid from pitt, he never played before in any bulk

does anyone think that the offense is holding anything back, like for conference play... because it seemed like the whole pitt game that they were running plays out of the two tight end and they must have more formations than just that one (which doesnt work by the way, only on bad d-lines like pitt) maybe they are savin up for ia st

was it just me or did musberger have a complete bias towards pitt... all of the announcers seemed to be for pitt and they didnt even seem to hide it

i understand why he put the two tight ends in at once cause the pitt d-line is terrible but he should have switched it up sometimes and run some run plays out of the shotgun so they could have other options to throw so they could diguise it... once they went into anything other than the two tight end pitt know it was a pass

i think that they need to just go four wide or three wide and use some draws and screens... then once they get a touchdown (hopefully) they can run the ball down their throat. they have to get taylor comfortable in the first half so he might be able to put together to solid halfs for the first time this season. the defense needs to play just as good as it did last week... its about the same from pitt just alil more lethal... blythe- lee, meyer-palko (both can make plays, one is just more mobile), and hicks-pitts shifty freshman back (hopefully they dont get hicks on the outside, it looks like if pitt would have done that they could have had a better shot to win... eventhough i dont know how much better of a shot u can get)

that call was a complete momentum shift to me i think... i got so upset because it was clearly a bad call... unless it was me, but anywhere else on saturday they would have given the ball to the defense

this would have no relevence if we didnt play pitt this week... but pitt announcer (also the steelers) bill hilgrove is a great announcer. i dunno wat it is about him but he just really calls good games and rarely messes up
