Ha! No stalking planned from this guy.This was one of my favorite senior classes in the VB program, and I was just curious what they are doing these days. I think Anderson got married, didn't she?

Anyone have information where these players are today? Tara Mueller? Sidney Anderson? Kayla Banwarth? I believe Lindsay LIcht is teaching in Lincoln, right?

Anyone have floor tickets for the Nebaska Volleyball spring game on April 14th that they can't use?

Thanks to the Big Ten Network for airing the tournament "live" last weekend. It was great watching these girls show the rest of the nation how good they are at the sport. And only one word describes the interview after the meet with Emily Wong..."Priceless"! Her smile and laugh truly showed the excitement of the whole team as they claimed the championship. I would hope the Big Ten Network would replay the tournament, but I doubt it is on their schedule. This team is what hard work and determination is all about. And their passion for the sport shows each time take to the floor. And the fans are just as passionate. Anyone who was at the Bob on senior night will agree. When Lora Evanstad took to the floor, the standing ovation gave everyone goosebumps. Can't wait for the NCAA. Nebaska is number one seed folks! Put out your Husker flags and lets cheer for a Championship!!!!!

Great night at the Bob last night as Nebraska Womens Gymnastics team defeated Iowa State. Good luck girls this next weekend at the Big Ten Championship. And hats off to the seniors who were honored. It was an emotional night. We wish them well!!!!

Just watched the gymnastics meet between Nebraska and Utah. First it was nice to watch the meet on the Utah's website FREE. I wish Nebraska would not require you to purchase a subscription. Second, what great support Utah has for their girls. Their attendance was 14,400!!!!!! We average around 2000 per meet.

I went to last weekends gymnastics meet against Missouri. During the meet four gymnasts, two on each side started to get the crowd to do the "Husker"..."Power" chant. I felt bad for the girls. They should be concentrating on the meet and enjoying the compeition. Why can't we have a few cheerleaders on hand do lead the crowd in cheers? Lil Red was out for the first part of the meet greeting kids and fans, but it just seems it wouldnt hurt to have a few cheerleaders and a small pep band on hand to help with the Husker spirit. And you gotta love the Huskervision intro for the girls....it sends chills up your spine! Job well done!!!!

Hey Krill....gymnastics is not like a VB game or basketball...alot more quieter..less people...but its great to watch these young athletes who have worked so hard do what they do best. They deserve much more recognition. They are number 1 right now and I doubt if alot of people care. And that is sad as these girls work hard. I go to support them. They appreciate seeing people in the stands. I suggest you go once. Show them your support.

Great job to the girls on Friday night at the Devaney Center. Looks like we have another team that could be in the top NCAA at the end of the season. Its too bad more people dont come out and cheer on this team. Its a great way to spend an evening.

Anyone know what Layne Reeves is doing these days? Miss her on the team. Does she come to any of the games or does she still hang out around the basketball program. Or has she moved on to other things?

So as I ponder on the Friday night action at the Coliseum I keep asking myself "did K-State really beat us?" The shock continues even 24 hours later. K-State played their best VB last night. The Husker gals kept fighting but it seemed that K-State just couldnt make a mistake. And what I have heard from alot of people was that the loss hurt alot because it was a "home loss". But I have to ask "was it really a home loss?" When I reflect on last night there were alot of K-State fans at the Coliseum AND with the addition of the K-State cheerleaders AND their pep band, they had to feel right at home. Does anyone else agree that we gave up our home court advantage by making accomodations for their band? I felt bad for the Husker fans who had to stand behind them all night. The Husker pep band is on the upper bleachers But last night the K-State band was a couple rows up from the floor. We gave the K-State VB team a home court advantage. Its almost safe to say that we lost an away game last night.

Hey Lara..we still love ya! You are a champ in our eyes. And why didnt Morgan make it on the Big Ten team? She deserves more than honroable mention. Great news on Root! She deserves some of the spotlight. Hopefully she gets to play some in the tournament. It doesnt hurt to have Lauren sit on the bench.

After last nights VB win, I took time this morning to read huskers.com, and when I saw this picture I just have to keep asking myself if its right for a student who was involved in a felony incident be allowed to play? I just dont think a two game suspension is enough. An incident which could have resulted in the death of a person should not be taken lightly. There just seems to be something wrong.

I thought the article in the Omaha paper this morning on Bridgette was very well written. She has earned her time on the court and I think every volleyball fan in the state is hoping for some great things out of her this weekend. Go Big Red!

I am trying to remember the last time a VB girl got into trouble. If I recall would that have been a few years ago wehn Mueller got a MIP? And I think Banwarth was also involvedin a drinking issue. Help me recall but I think they got a one game suspension...or maybe two? Rarely do we hear of any problems with VB players. This topic obviously is one that is getting talked about because she is a star pklayer AND the coaches daughter. I agree with the earlier post...she has issues when it comes to driving. Who has that many speeding tickets? She definitely has a heavy foot. I predict we will see her on the bench in street clothes this weekend. But after that I bet she is back playing on the court until this issued is taken care of in the court system.

I just heard from a source that says Cook may have reported the accident to the police and that she was being cooperative and doing everything she could to help the police. So there may be alot more to the story and further details are coming.

Wow.....again I say Wow. Everything was going so well for the VB girls. Anyone know was this immediately after they got home from the weekend games? Did they fly in from Penn State or did they travel by bus. Did she just leave the airport? Is the suspended driving from all the speeding tickets listed in the Journal? It has to be very uncomfortable at the Coliseum today.

When Illinios and Penn State meet in a couple of weeks any predictions as to who will win? Penn State looked very good this past weekend when they played Nebraska.

Its always nice to attend one or two of the gymnastics meet each year and watch the men's and women's teams in action. Over 1300 people were on hand this past Sunday for the action at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. I noticed that Kassandra Nathe was not AND has not been participating in any of the meets. Does anyone know if she is injured or has she quit the team? She did so well last year for the team but I haven't been able to find out what happened to her?

Is there anyway we can convince her to come back to the team?

I thought for sure Layne would be at the next few games but perhaps its just too hard to sit and watch after dedicating yourself to the sport all these years. I hope she wasn't sitting in her apartment alone watching it on TV. At first I thought I saw her sitting with the team Sunday. Layne..we will miss you.
