I'd go with Bray, personally. If we don't we're going to lose him sometime soon. He's a guy with a bright future ahead of him, and that's an opening we want to avoid. This could keep him at NU for quite some time. Then bring in someone who can devote more time to recruiting to help out and fill the open spot as a positions coach, as well as (again) raise the staff's recruiting ability.
I like Bray, but prefer someone with more experience.
What has he really accomplished?
He's young and cute

Has our new DC been mentioned in this thread yet?
Yes +150
No -110
Considering there's been 7 pages suggesting it'll be Bud Foster, current head coaches or some offensive coaches. Going to put my life savings on "No"

It's time for the comeback story of the century

Brain Vangorder. ( notre damn old D coordinator ) Kirby Smart and Georgia called him to be a consultant for the rest of the season..
You're kidding, right? His defense at Notre Dame was beyond awful.

Book your tickets now for the Pinstripe Bowl! I'm thinking 6-6, Oregon, Ohio St and Penn St blow us out and we lose close to Wiscy, Northwestern and Iowa. Hope I'm wrong though.

Fleck will win over the players. He got 6 new commits yesterday alone. All 3 star kids.
I think they're all former Western Michigan commits, right?
Yes they all came from Western Michigan. Moved WMU's class from 1st in the MAC to 4th....they've had a rough week

I have a really bad feeling about next year, the vibe since the Ohio St. game has been very off. Hope I'm wrong, but I think we finish under .500 in the Big 10 next year at 4-5.

So ... how many do we have now?
We currently have 13 known commitments, but we actually have 16 at the moment...Then again, a silent commit can never be trusted
It's like we didn't learn anything from Fitzpatrick last year...

Hmmmm maybe we shouldn't have put all our eggs in the west coast basket....

Can not be emphasized enough how big of an effect hiring Joe Moorehead has had on the program. The guy is one of the best playcallers in the nation, and will be a FBS head coach soon. They've recruited slightly better, but the talent composite only has them at 21st where as we are at 25. Just have really good coaches that make the most of that talent.

He's a very good con man. He has somehow convinced Mike Riley he knows how to coach defense for about 17 years now

Add Oregon to poll?

Surprised we haven't seen more Stanley Morgan tonight and throughout the season. Thought he'd be a breakout star this year

Besides Gerry missing, what other excuses can Banker have for this terrible performance.
"Well uh ya know sometimes when the dog isn't hungry they don't eat. And today our dogs weren't hungry uh ya know"

Barnett is nothing like Calhoun or Gregory
Yeah Barnett has about 50 pounds on Gregory. No idea where they came up with that comparison

Tennessee at 519 yards now. Averaging around 7.5 yards a play
-
Tennessee's kicker finally figured out there was no reason to kick away from our returners
-
Fire the defense
-
Now we need to keep forcing fumbles on the kickoffs so our defense doesn't have to go on the field

Lol here comes the Tennessee collapse

At least Drew Brown is really good

Teams that did not allow 31 points to Tennessee this year:
Appalachian State, Ohio, South Carolina
Bring back Frank!

Serious question. What does Riley do during the games? I've never seen such a disinterested HC on the sidelines before, hands in pocket, looking down, chewing gum, and no one is ever around him.
He brings a quiet confidence....

Does Brandon Reilly only do circus catches?
