Sleep it off. I admit hearing about dumb behavior like this with so much real crap going on in the world is hard to stomach. But, these were still two young men, and two service men...one dead, another life ruined forever and two distraught families. Gotta at least feel for the parents and siblings left behind.

Heres a guy who worked his butt off all year. And now he earned his invite for the heisman. You man not win it suh but you still kick ass. Again, you make me want to watch football on sunday.
Yeah, love the fact that he did it the right way, returning for his senior year...and will definitely become a fan of whatever team picks him up, and I'm not much of an NFL fan.

Yeah, I'm thinking it would be an odd situation for the Club to give the award to someone who was so behind in first place votes as Gerhardt could win with an abundance of 2nd place votes.

I admit some of the stuff the Jet has been associated with is pretty cheesy, borderline shady at times, but hey he hasn't earning a living and using an advantage he earned. I don't fault him for that...plus as a Husker, I got his back! lol

He was a young man...and that was almost 30 yrs ago. I think he's obviously shown he can walk away from those kind of influences.

OK how about this: Colt McCoy just plain sucks against good pass defenses.
In his three games against top 40 pass defenses this season (Colorado, Oklahoma and Nebraska), McCoy has thrown for an average of 192 yards, with two touchdowns and five interceptions.
Numbers don't lie.

Would love to see Green in there, but my worry is less about what Lee can do, and more about what Green might do...namely turnovers. Putting in such an inexperienced QB on such a big stage would really scare me. Sure wish they would have given him some more significant playing time before the Holiday Bowl.

Very few would warrant it, but Suh would be one I would consider. And, imagine, all this in a relatively speaking down year compared to years in which you usually consider retiring guys number.
