  1. Much better than jumping around like a bunch of 10 year olds on Red Bull. It's what we did back in the good ol' days. Gives a more distinguished feel and look to it. I like it. But whatev.

Yeah, seamed to work didn't it?

  2. No really, hear me out. If anyone knows how bad our offense is, it's the defense. How do those guys expect us to win any games if:

    1. The defense doesn't cause turn overs.

    2. The defense dosen't pitch a shutout.

    3. The defense dosen't score points! I'm not talking about putting our offense in position to score I mean the defense dosen't SCORE THEMSELVES!

I mean really, if this defense thinks they are going to get any help from our offense they are kidding themselves!

They better figure out their role quick or we might lose out.

Come on D I know you can do better!

    :boxosoap

You must really be obtruse. Did you watch the game?????? The opposition scored 3 points on an NU offensive turnover. ..That is the game. The D played lights out. they prevented at minimum 4 points. Go home. You r blind.

    :sarcasm

    :rant

    :wtf

  3. I am SOOO sick of hearing your losers calling for the heads of Gilmore, Watson, etc. The PLAYERS lost us this game. How many turnovers did our coaches have? What plays were called that induced our running backs to fumble all day?

Nut up and quit being a whiney girl. We lost. Get over it. Yes our coaches need to work on things, but they did NOT lose us this game.

    S T F U plz

U R retarded. Shut the f#*k up. Thank you. Good bye.

  4. Watson didn't fumble the ball, drop the passes did he? Or did I miss something? <_<

You are right, watson put us in position to not fumble the lateral, throw dink and dunk passes when we should have been going for the win. Watsons play calling was bad.

  5. I hope I don't hear the "we didn't execute" excuse. The O did nothing. It is time for sweeping changes, or it is tiem for even drastic changes. Green to start. He should have started this game. We win.

  6. We are going to struggle for the rest of this year. So there is no reason IMO to play Lee..Green is the future...let him have get his bumps and bruises when everyone is..then he will be "experienced" going into next year...there is NO reason to leave Lee in...none

Thats not right. You should probably be asking yourself why do we have some of our recievers in who can't catch the ball.

People keep wanting to see Green in. Well it doesnt matter who the hell is QB if recievers can't catch the ball.

YOU'RE WRONG. The receivers had plenty of drops and there were plenty of fumbles, but when it came time to grow a pair and step up to win the game, lee threw three incompletions and a pick.

  7. This is not Zach Lee's fault. He's really good, really really good. Don't blame him for this - he only threw a couple pics....and most of his throws are nearly good passes..... :clap

Yea, i think Zac Lee did good. He only had one true INT, the other 2 was deflected passes that recievers should have made.

Hey, lay off the crack pipe, one he threw right in the area of a LB, and it was tipped, bumped around like a volleyball, and then picked. How is that now his fault. The initial tip was by a LB. It is not like it hit the TE in the chest.

  8. I don't think Watson is a bad coach, but it's the Callahan argument in a sense. HE isn't the problem directly. It's just that HE wont change the problem. Callahan wouldn't fire Cosgrove, so he had to go and if Watson wont can Lee, then he'll have to go too. Watson's a good coach in my book, or was until this season. With Ganz he looked like a genius, but if he wont change to a quarterback competent enough to tie his own shoes, then he's as worthless as Lee himself.

The thing is ganz was in the system 5 years. You are not always going to have the luxury of have a player in for 5 years. It is time to adapt to the talent around you. Simplify the playbook, go to a more run orientated offense and put points on the board. To date, Watson hasn't been able to accomplish that against any kind of competition.

  9. Defending LEE. Yes he's right he didnt force the fumbles. But he tried to say was it his fault that that was interception, yes it was, it was not catch able, He threw that ball so high jesus couldnt catch it. Jeeze its like he wants Lee's nuts.

Funny, I think Lee has played a very solid game.

ETR, you wanna share some of that stuff u r smoking, cuz I need some right now. 3 picks, can't lead the O. He looked like a deer in headlights the final series. Once he has to throw the ball more than 10 yds downfield, it is just a prayer. Sweeping change. It is time.

  10. Let's please see Green in the 2nd half.

Why? Lee is playng really well. He is not the one dropping the balls.

Lee is only buying time. He has thrown some bad balls today. I really hope Green starts the 2nd half or we may not score again in this game offensively because Lee can't sustain a drive.

Besides the pass to Gilly and the pass to that invisible guy on that last drive, what passes are you referring to?

Zac is 14-22 for 181, and we have 250 yards of total offense. We have been fine on offense, besides the fact we have become mental midgets and had terrible luck.

7 points against ISU at home!!!!!! That's fine?

Dude, look at the turnovers. We have had the ball and moved it at will on these guys. But we have kicked ourselves in our own ass.

The offense is fine. We just need to stop being careless with the ball.

It's Iowa State and we are losing @ have. We have scored 7 points. The O is not fine.

  11. Doesn't some of this poor play fall on the play caller? He has called 2 of the same damn lateral pass plays that never work for us. The same lateral pass play OU picked 6 last year, and TT recovered for 6. We dropped one that luckily wasn't a fumble, and gained 3 yards on another. We need to take more shots down field to open up this dink and dunk passing game. Personally I think it is time for Green to take over and a change in offensive philosophy needs to occur. Run the ball with the QB and RB's. Don't throw Green in there and make him throw throw throw. Utilize his strenghts, his running ability.

  12. Is there a chance that TT is just better then NU?

I know there is tons of talk that Watson sucks and Lee sucks and so on but, dont you think that TT deserves credit?

Also, most of us probably agree that for the most part BC was terrible, I know I do. I have also long felt that BCs recruiting was way way way overrated and maybe we are seeing that from time to time?

Isnt there a good chance that Lee is just an average QB? Isnt there a good chance that NUs WR's are just average? I mean, you cant usually develop average into greatness.

Maybe we are seeing the effects of BC's recruiting, especially on the offensive side of the ball and maybe we also saw that TT is a pretty good team. We talk about how NU "could have been" 5-0 before this game, well TT was not far away from having zero losses too.

    No

ohhhhh flood control kicked in. Thats cute.

This loss falls on the offense...and that includes bo. He did not have the foresight to pull lee in and put green in in a meaningfull possession.

What sh**ty playcalling. that was pitiful/

  14. Wasn't part of the success because maybe Missouri's D ran out of gas during that last drive?

Possibly, but why did we have success early in the game when it was either a 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 and we lined up in the I formation w/ a full back and Burkhead ran for about 5.

We struggled running against MU when we were spread out, but seemed to have some success when we went big

  15. And this board has officially gone into meltdown mode. Here comes the "fire bo pelini" and "cody green should've played" crowd :ahhhhhhhh:ahhhhhhhh:ahhhhhhhh

I guess Helu having a career high game with over 170yds is the coaches/teams fault. I guess our D holding VaTech to less than 60 yds (before the big play) the entire 2nd half was our coaches/teams fault.

Face it. Bud Foster's defense played very well.

Bud Fosters defense played good, but our offense pissed this game away. 1st and goal at the 6 and you cant even get a fg attempt. I think Zac Lee has been watching too much Tyrod Taylor film cuz he sure started throwing like him.
