  1. let's not have 11+ penalties a game

    kthx

It's very un-Huskerlike...expect it to get worse as the season derails and the coaching staff can't set an example for how to act on a football field when they're acting just as bad as the players.

Way to have an asshat response!!!!!!! The Coaching Staff didn't create any penalties da.

  2. I'm not calling for the head coaches head, but JHC, looked like Billy C was calling plays tonight. Get the ground game going, switch rb's, 4th and 35, 7 yd crossing rt, wtf.

I thought the only way we had a chance tonight was if our O kept us in it, They have failed to show for a couple games now.

  3. I just realized that my twin daughters 1st birthday is tomorrow night and not going to be able to see the game.

    Ahh F*&^

Why don't you have a football watching birthday party. The game is on late anyway, shouldn't they be in bed.

  4. Anyone remember the Wyoming game in 1994? One of our N.C. years. We could had gotten beat that day. I was there. We had the upper-hand much of the game until the fourth quarter when the Cowboys made a run on us. We were ahead I think 24-7, and they closed it to 24-21 and got the ball back deep in their territory in the last few minutes of the game. The fear was that Wyoming would start driving on us again, but they immediately fumbled the ball back to us. And we got a T.D. to end the game 31-21. I will tell you that they gave us a scare that day. Perhaps the only team in the regular season that year that had us on our heals in the fourth quarter.

Wasn't that the game where Tommie was out and Brook had a collapsed lung? I don't know why everyone dogs WY. I think either Auburn or Tennessee has played them in the past few years. It's not like we are playing Maine again. I would love to see the game at Mile Hi. Saves me the 7 hour drive to Lincoln, great exposure, and a chance to expand the fan and recruiting base.

  5. I just don't want to be surrounded by a bunch of CU A$$holes

If enough Hukser fans buy tickets, you won't be. :)

That's the hope anyway. I am bringing a couple of CU fans to the game though. I thought they should enjoy the Memorial Stadium experience.

  6. Scratch Here

It's not as serious as, say, starting quarterback Mark Sanchez's dislocated kneecap, but the USC Trojans are suffering a new rash of injuries.

    Emphasis on rash.

According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, as much as 25% of the team has been affected by a run of tinea cruris, known more colloquially as "jock itch."

Head coach Pete Carroll told the Times he'd never seen anything like the current outbreak and pointed a finger at new compression shorts the team has been wearing underneath their football pants.

"We've had to adjust to some new equipment that we're wearing that didn't work out right," Carroll said. "It's funny how that happened."

You'll forgive tailback Joe McKnight and wide receiver Travon Patterson if they aren't laughing. Both were unable to practice Wednesday because of the severity of the irritation.

    "It burns," Patterson said.

"Sometimes they can't walk," said tailback Stafon Johnson. "I don't know what it is, but I'm staying away from it."

  7. Maybe Dixon has screwed up one too many times and was given his last chance. Still, I don't like the fact that he may have been kicked off the team for a citation that he isn't yet guilty of. This is pure speculation as to why he was removed, maybe he didn't fulfill his team punishment, who knows. What happened to innocent until proven guilty. Suspend him indefinately, then if he is found guilty, dismiss him.

-- The Jets believe new offensive line coach/assistant head coach Bill Callahan is going to make for a significant upgrade up front. The ex-Raiders and ex-Nebraska head coach is as meticulous in his preparation and teaching as ever.

Say all you want about Callahan. He was a poor fit in ways for our program, but he's still a good coach.

I don't know how you can say he is a good coach when he turned two good football programs (Oakland, NU) into bad teams. He may know his X's and O's on paper, but he can't seem to get it to work on the field nor relate it to his players.
