EZ-E is right....and to drive home this point you can look at all the Seniors to be next fall that we were either their first offer, or one of their first offers. You cant sit her and tell me that they were the first to offer JT sitting around doing nothing. Our coaching staff knows talent and they are one of the first staffs to be on highly touted recruits... FOR THE FUTURE...ie Jamal Turner. Make no mistake about it Bo is looking for big time talent and in order to get big time talent CONSISTENTLY you have to be in on them very early....ie Turner and his "first love" quote. It looks like they are constantly out on the road evaluating talent not only for this class but more importantly for future classes. And its looking like its already paying off for 2011. Now all we have to do is keep winning and we should start landing more big time recruits...that we already got in on early.

Instead of being behind and using our winning to persuade big time recruits, we offer early which shows loyalty and then winning and competing for championships will seal the deal. Looks like a great strategy to me. 2011 COULD be one of the best classes weve ever seen...the 2 OL we already have, Westerman, Turner, A Green, and a couple top WR....LOOK OUT!!!

Carnes.. havent heard much about him, ive heard his mom wants to keep him around, but i think he was probably blown away seeing our facilities. Hes going to go to on his next visits and its not even going to be a comparison, and he chooses N.

Owa..to many rumors surrounding this guy being N, and to many prominent posters calling him a lock they have rarely been wrong....WE GET ALL THREE.

I could see us losing Carnes but not the other two. I went back and read alot of posts on some bigger names from years past recently and guys we have ended up getting the majority of posters were hearing rumors and calling him N. Others like PPaul for example...no one was calling him N.

im new to this and all but how do we know Rivals and scout didnt pull that info from the article....and we are all worried for nothing? Again new to recruiting its an honest question?

im not a premium member so i guess you guys would know more then I...but the only quote i saw posted on here did in fact say OSU but it also said he was a tight end...it would be easy to mis quote Oregon and OSU if they cant even get his college poistion right. Again im sure you guys have seen different articles...just thought it was interesting is all.

I regularly read your board, and love it. But I don't have posting privileges. I felt compelled to contact you and let you know that thePortland Tribune reporting (sports, in particular) is notoriously incompetent. In this case, the reporter writes like someone from back east who doesn't even know the difference between Oregon and Oregon State. Owa has not dropped Oregon and suddenly re-added Oregon State. THe final three are Oregon, UCLA and the Huskers. And I'm fairly sure reports of the list narrowing to two were premature as well. It pains me to read a bunch of you wracking your brains trying to figure out what is going on, when in fact, things have basically remained the same. The only change is the infusion of misinformation. Go Huskers, a Grey Beard Oregon Husker.

ya its pretty obvious bo wants this guy on the team: news breaks today that he commits to UNO...later in the same day a Greyshirt is offered.

yep a rivals teaser just came up about him getting a grayshirt offer laste today??? With next years potential class im a little shocked, bo did say he wants him on the team, so well see.

Again....with all the rumors going around you cant help to think his mind is made up. His coach is not going come out and give a hint as to which school is the clear favorite and steal OWA's thunder..we know he wants to respectfully tell the other coaches he has made up his mind.

He doesnt seem like the kind of guy thats going to bash other schools by saying...we made a pros and cons list and Nebraska was heads and tails above the other schools....but he will make his decision soon.

We will find out who had the most points when he commits this week. I dont see him waiting til signing day because that can be seen as playing the game, so i see him announcing before then.

I still think there are to many rumors circulating around the boards for none of them to be true. Sounds like he is open to all options and is making sure NU is the best place for him. Its got to be a HUGE decision leaving your home state when your considered the best recruit in said state. Hes giving a fair shot to is final 3 and is making an educated decision, cant fault him for that. Although its disappointing because i expected to hear something today.... i still think hes ours.

From what im seeing everywhere it seems like hes already made up his mind, its just not "confirmed" public knowledge as of yet. My guess is we hear this all night and tommorrow it will finally be confirmed on rivals. At least thats what im going to tell myself so i can go to sleep and not stay up all night.

Rivals Teaser says the coaches paid him a visit on Wed. Says he has the ability to play early at NU. Cant read the acticle, but from the teaser it sounds like the coaches are high on this kid(im sure they are with everyone from this class) Anyone got anymore info or video on this kid. Glad he chose to be N, looks like he has a decent offers list.

Its funny that most of us are pretty sure (according to rumors) that we wont hear til sunday, yet we all sit here and wait just in case. The rivals quotes even say hes going to sit down with everyone THIS WEEKEND...and yet here we are

Well decided to make the plunge and stop being a guest on here and start posting. First year following recruiting and its been alot of fun. Followed last night till i got tired of hitting refresh evey 30sec when the board crashed. Have been bored at work and have hit refresh about 200 times. I have found myself coming to this board all the time since i have found it and so i thought i should join the party. I have no inside info so im just here for the ride.

Oh and ever since Owa put us back on his list i had a really good feeling we were going to get him. Who would put someone back on his list to just eliminate us right away?...i was sure we would be in his last 2 atleast....just makes sense.
