  1. Nebraska football is dead. I never thought I would get to the point where I dont watch til the end of the game, let alone an entire half. Donors need to save their money on this ridiculous $450 million stadium project. Its pointless, it means nothing when people wont show up and people need to stop showing up. The program is a money pit.

We could bring in Kirby Smart and he wouldnt even be able to turn this cancer of a program around. Rhule needs to get out now while he still has some value as a head coach. Time to start trying to find a new team to cheer for because I just cant do it anymore with Nebraska, probably wont be able to find one that I loved more than Nebraska, but I cant do this week after week anymore. It sucks.

Context helps the bigger picture though. The QB spot has not done too much to help our tight ends so far and the QB in the class hasn't yet done a lot to inspire confidence that he will be an improvement. Though I believe Nelson will not be going anywhere else, it isn't unreasonable to believe he would look around if he isn't quite sold.

I agree and I dont think our starting QB next year is on the team or in the recruiting class this year. I think we get 2 in the portal in the offseason.

Lol. OMG a literal last-second garbage time TD against CU is all that separates Fidone from Brock Bowers at UGA! What a joke

Why are you so hostile? You asked a question and I answered. Its pretty obvious were not a finished product on offense or defense, its year one. But its also pretty clear they want to involve the TE position a lot in their offensive scheme. I dont think this staff will have trouble recruiting top TEs, especially if they get this thing to take off.

Can't say but it was after the first couple games

I wouldn't blame him though - our offense looks like s#!t. Why would you want to play in that?

Because our TE has 3 TDs in 4 games…

the portion of the fan base that loves to b!^@h and whine about nebraska football is very happy right now

You think people actually enjoy doing this? I would give anything to be a good football team and talk positively about the program. But there isnt much to be positive about these days and it is nice to be able to vent the frustrations a little.

Reckless. Sims was reckless with decision making on many of his throws, particularly on his INT's. Grant was reckless with ball security on his fumble. Rhule was reckless for putting Sims in so many dropbacks and for putting in Grant when ball security was the #1 priority while tied, late in the 4th (Rhule was aware of Sims' turnover history at GATech and Grant's problems in practice).

I believe Grant funbled after a big first down with 5 minutes to go and we were up by 7. One or two more first downs would have sealed it because I think they only had two timeouts left.

#1 Husker fans are the worst. It's game one of the first season. Defense did pretty well, and they've been a huge liability for the last 5 to 10 years.

#2 Rhule & Co are absolute fools for letting Casey go, and even more foolish for thinking Sims was some kind of answer. You have a decent passer back there tonight and this game is 35 to 3 or 42 to 10

What do the fans have to do with this? Husker fans have been enduring this BS for 20 damn years and still spending their money and showing up for games for a program that quite frankly doesnt deserve to have any fans at all. Any other school would be playing in front of only their family and friends if they played like Nebraska has for 20 years. The fans are great and we have every right to be upset.

This game was lost because of coaching. Terrible clock management. Terrible situational coaching. Playing players in crunch time that two weeks ago you publically called out. Not using a TO at the end of the first half on the half yard line which resulted in rushing to the line and getting a false start penalty. Three straight incomplete passes with the lead in the fourth quarter when the running game has started to open up. Trotting Sims out there at all, etc.

Its time for the sellout streak to end and for this program to get the fan support they deserve.

You do realize there is one for a higher income threshold (90% not every penny), correct?

Top marginal tax rate of 90%? Like how it was under Dwight Eisenhower (R)? Also the time in our country where we had a booming middle class, which this country desperately needs to be strong. Yes, we should do that again!

  9. I get the feeling Rhule is grooming Casey to be a coach here. Casey’s work ethic when it comes to watching film and studying plays plus him standing next to Rhule with a headset on, I just get that feeling. He wasnt even sure he wanted to play another year, so I dont think he will transfer especially of he has a job waiting for him next year.

I'm not watching, but that is pretty typical if you're recruiting elite speed then the players will be smaller in stature.  Large athletes with elite speed are high 4/5 star guys and coveted by everyone.  We aren't getting those guys right now.  You either get size or speed in non blue chip recruits, not both.

Im mostly talking about the lines.

We lost to a team last year that had only 1 win and that was against us.

That game was loat due to coaching. Anyone but Frost and we win that game. Kick it off instead of onside kick and I believe we blow them out.

This team has talent. Coaching is what has been holding them back. If Rhule is the coach we all hope he is, we can definetely go bowling next season.
