Perhaps I should remove the sarcasm. What I'm trying to say is there's so much vitriol on the board, then we get angry when players don't identify with us as fans. If I were a player I'd feel like I'd have to push back against fans.

Nah. You might have to defend yourself against a few dumbasses. But twitter is just Internet bullsh#t. The fans that love ya come sit their butts in the seats every Saturday. If they didn't love ya, they wouldn't pay to do it. Focus on those good ones. Not the few pissants. But I can't blame em...their former HC had this same attitude.

I suppose. I guess I also look at it as if someone saying something nasty about someone you care about. It gets me super defensive.
