Uh...I live in Oklahoma. I am a huge Oklahoma fan. I am not related to this family in any way. I heard their story after my brother purchased a dog from them as they were trying to raise money for medical bills. This is a tremendous family and I'm proud to know them as we have met. And yes, they are huge Husker fans. I am just trying to help. Sorry you are so skeptical.

Six years ago the Marshall family from N. Platte had a little boy. They expected to have to bury him shortly after he was born. The doctors gave the parents no hope for survival. But survive he did while enduring a lot of medical treatment and near death experiences. Today, this little boy continues to amaze all who come into contact with him. Although born into a huge Husker family, a large number of Oklahoma Sooner fans heard Ethan's story and rallied behind the family providing emotional and financial support when they were in their darkest days. It is a fascinating story about great rivalry with fans who know when to put the rivalry aside. Some of the Oklahoma coaching staff has even got involved with Ethan, although you have never read about it in the papers. The Marshall family now needs some help. There is a car dealership that is giving away a car. Families get nominated, and their stories are then posted on their website for people to vote on. The family that gets the most votes then receives a car. Ethan Marshall's Family (his story is at Ethanmarshall.com) was nominated, and their story was selected for this month. There were over 3300 entries, and they were one of the 5 picked.
