Badger Fan - I don't post much but I read daily and you are a complete breath of fresh air and comic relief. Please don't ever leave! :worship

My brother and father went in 2002. They saw Nebraska cheerleaders hit with glass beer bottles, urine filled balloons, taunting by thousands, but what set him off was when he saw fans pushing NU fans and trying to throw them down stairs. He had to be physically restrained by my brother and cousin from going after them - he was that upset. My dad was a laid back, retired college football coach so he had seen plenty of crazy students and fans over the year. He could not believe what was allowed to go on at that game and said he'd never go back.

They had the "COMEBACK"... Ohio State come from behind highlights and it ended with Bo's video speech after the Ohio St Game where he screamed out "It was the biggest comeback in Husker history"... cool stuff

I believe they are talking about the tailgate that is at the Student Union. I know Husker Huddle is partying from 3-6 pm and afterwards people who want to view the game can for $10. Its in the South entrance of the Union. 1308 W Dayton St. There is another tailgate going on at what is called Badgerville.. it is somewhere near the stadium also. From what I have read you can just walk to the stadium and find all kinds of tailgating and things to do. So if you just head out I think you'll find a party of Huskers. And maybe even some tickets

The coaches aren't asleep on the need for a kicker. Kid I mentioned is heading to Lincoln to meet with coaches. He'd be a walk on.

I find it hard to imagine that we can't find one kid in state that can kick. They would walk on just to get a chance to play, for the Huskers. We need a kicker, most of our close games the last couple of years, were helped by Henery's leg in winning them. The way our offense, played toward the end of the season, next year would be tough without at least a kicker that was good from 40yrds on in.
GBR!!!
Hi - first time post so you might not believe me but what the heck. I can tell you that the staff has been looking at instate talent to walk on and they didn't wait until yesterday to do so. My bro is a HS soccer coach and one of his former players is in the mix. GBR
