edit - different attorneys and police handle the breathalyzer test differently. The test after you are booked is more official and accurate.

We really should be focusing on the lines. And QB's. Excel in those two area, and you or i could be an effective receiver or running back. This is called common sense football.I get so F'ing tired of hearing people b***** about going after five star receivers. And their argument is "we should be focusing on the lines". They are not mutually exclusive. If you have a chance at bringing someone in who makes your team better then do it.
I agree without good line play you're not going to be successful at anything. But because we have the attention of a lot top skill players doesn't mean we're not going after good lineman too. Adding talent to the roster at any position is never a bad thing.

Here's a really good article and interview with Tanner Farmer. He's not lacking confidence for him and the team. I'm really looking forward to see how he performs this coming year!

Echols committing tonight

Need a holder with excellent hands who can run fast or pass decent for fakes, bad snaps, etc.
Be a good time to give a couple of our speed burners a try as punter as a guy with top speed might just break a couple runs on the fake punts. I think we should try atleast 5 five fake punts or look at some kind of trickery on 4th downs. Those can help an outmatched team pull off the upset. We will NEED a couple upsets this year to have a special season.

Has anyone explained or know why they aren't practicing on Mondays this year? (During the season)

To be fair Jordan Stevenson ran at least 17.6 yards sideways on all his returns

It's crazy that they write out for the kid to contact any other colleges recruiting them to tell them to stop. It's mind blowing how off putting their letter is.
Michigan State did a good job on their letters to commits. Made them really personal which Iowa could learn from

No tire tread!
In all seriousness the Jordan label carries a lot of weight. I'm not sure if it will ever be a deciding factor in a recruits decision but it certainly doesn't hurt getting Jordan training shoes and other personal apparel when going to Michigan.

Looks like Bell had a bad practice after starting out strong. Coach said Humphries is their #3

If they bring in Texas they better be bringing Oklahoma too. That's the only way I could live with it

Hopefully we can steal Les Miles commit along with his sonSays he's taking OVs to LSU, Alabama, Nebraska and USC and those are the only four schools he's considering.
Now weights 360
*evil laugh*

I was just going to ask about that because our coaches are already retweeting recruits posts

Maryland is one of those programs that can be dangerous down the road. I'm just not sold on them being all in for football. We will see.
Potential to be the Oregon of the east coast. With all the money from under armor.... And they are in a very populous area

There are still lots of uncertainty especially with the lines and how they game plan. im going with 9-3 right now. The Oregon game I think will be very telling this year. If we can slow down their offense and win that game it will give a good indication of how the season will go. Kind of like the Miami game last year we got hit hard early in that game then couldn't finish. But as of now I'll go 9-3 with losses to Wisconsin, Ohio state, and Iowa
