Was visiting with my brother-in-law who is a cyclone fan living in Des Moines, poor bastard.

Rumor is that Iowa wont move the game to Friday because university medical clinics need to be open and wont be available for parking. Its just stories now, but it will really piss me off if Iowa cant carry on own tradition of playing Friday after Thanksgiving. Living in Iowa, Hawk fans are chirpy and starting to be irritating. I may have to root Clones on Saturday.

If Martinez goes through the year as a freshman starter, which is a big if at this point, and looks to be a solid starter going into 2011. I wouldnt blame Cody Green for transfering.

T Mart showed a lot yesterday. He has speed, he can look off a DB, he could be more accurate, and I didnt see him throw deep. A good start for the young man. I hope he is too cocky, all good QBs are.

Hes not even close to Eric Crouch comparisons, even though that was the last guy playing QB at NU with that much athleticsm.

On the note of coachs playing the best QB because their jobs are on the line. How much does yesterday's depth chart of 1 Mart 2 Green have to do with the direction Bo wants to take the offense? He has mentioned needing the depth when the QB is a running threat. Add the recruiting of speed backs Heard and Green.

This QB race seems far from over to me. TMart is gonna be loved by everyone at this time, a rs-freshman starting at QB. I am very excited about what he showed VS WKU, he has some skills that Zac and Cody dont.

Lets see what happens when NU is down and hes thrown 2 ints before the half. What happens when he struggles, it will be nice to have Zac Lee on the bench.

Thanks for putting this info together. It seems like NU needs a lot of guys on this list to step up this year to have a successfull season.

I hate it when Fro makes good points. Only probation could slow down OU and UT, so the Big 12 will remain a strong conference. Tech, OSU, and MU have some short term problems, but should recover.

A 1 loss team playing NU's 2011 and 2012 schedule over a undefeated big 12 team, it would be close. Sorry for all the Big 10 love here on HB Fro.

Agree, Iowa seems to share CU's inferiority complex. I do live in Iowa, and for the most part get along with Iowa fans. I dont see them as rude as CU.

I was hoping to have Penn St as the last game, oh well.

The media always seem to want more. I really dont understand just what they want. I think Bo gives them a lot and he gives them real feelings and emotion that few coaches let the media see. After the VA Tech game last year when he was proud of his team in a loss he gave the media time and a great quote "I dont think you ever get over a loss like this". After a game when he is upset about his teams effort he will shut things down, then later in a season he will gush about a player, Ganz and Suh.

This seems much more fun for the media to cover than any other NU coach I can think of. Osborne had to be a complete bore for the media to cover week in week out. You would get the exact same thing each week.

Id like to see the coaches get someone who could be primarily a slot. I cant remember the last guy who was a small, quick athletic slot.

Seemed like we could pull in Curtis last year, and I thought Antonio Bell could be that player. We know how that worked out.

As a Nebraska fan living in Iowa, I dont get why Iowa fans put so much emphasis on being better than NU. Iowa fans can also be rather illogical about why NU and Iowa dont play on a yearly basis, which is obivious.

I tell them it just dont matter who is better. Iowa needs to win their conference and NU needs to win their conference. I worry this rivalry will turn into NU ISU, where one side values the rivalry much more than the other.

I admire the commitment made by the DE, but his mustache has a long ways to go to reach the status of Tom Selleck's legendary mustache.

Halftime of the ESPN games is brutal. Mark May spouts out something stupid, and when I think their show cant get dumber I get to hear what Lou Holtz thinks. Time to blow that show up and start over.

I believe its already been decided with the already mentioned cross division rivals. Id like to be playing Wisconsin more. I think its a mistake to move Michigan Ohio St to October, but both ADs seem OK with it. Its all over but the crying.

The more I think about this, the less sense it makes. Why would the Big 12 want to keep Colorado and be an 11 team conference? Would they be looking to add a 12th team, there would really not be any more CCG money from ESPN/ABC according to what I know. I dont think theres anything going on here, just a million dollar game of chicken.
