I dont see Bo altering his recruiting approach at all because of some success. Bo will still go after the guys Bo likes. The programs success will just create a larger pool to recruit from. Everything is on the upward trend.
-
I think I recall Bo saying he only wanted to bring in 5 or 7 recruits a week because that was all he could give his attention to. I dont know the number, but I think he said that about a year ago.
Maybe hes got new rules now.

Not Iowa. They arent good enough. It would be like Colorado who is also not good enough. I dont mean to disrespect Iowa, but they dont have the historically great program.
There are lose rivalries with both Penn St and Michigan. Id like either one of those two with no lean either way.

CU's athletic department is broke or squeaky tight, they cant afford to fire Hawk. They now cant afford the difference between 50% and 80%, thats weak.
When did the NCAA allow a team to play an extra game if it is in Hawaii, and how does this make any sense?
-
If Hawaii goes independent itd be another tough blow. The rumors are also talking Utah St to the Mountain West. The WAC commish is talking about adding some FCS schools, Montana, TX-San Antonio, some others.
Rumors also continue on the final PAC10 vote of approval for Utah and CU.
I dont understand what the MWC is doing. Fresno could be a good addition, but what does Nevada bring as opposed to some CUSA schools like UH and SMU? I dont get it. Should rename MWC the WAC if these moves unfold. Thats what the MWC is without BYU and Utah.

Taylor Martinez for Heisman, start printing the t-shirts.

Im finding Cougarboard interesting right now. Those guys seem to feel like a Big 12 invite is coming. Perhaps adding BYU could net value in the Big 12's secondary TV deal being negotiated right now with Fox. Id call it a toss up.
How does anybody see an independent BYU working out scheduling wise and BCS wise?

Its one thing for the admissions nazis to mess with our basketball recruits, but this is going too far.
-
OK, its at five now.
Lyons
Hobbi
Todd Peat
James Adeyanju
DeVante Wilson
According to Scout, but I think theres a lot more. Green, Turner I lose track.
Could this game get any bigger?
-
Ive lost count of how many visitors that is for 10/16.
-
Id bet all 3 play versus WKU and Idaho. Then we can see where things fall. I really want to buy into the Taylor Martinez hype but cant do it after one spring game.

If Michigan and OSU are talking about a split, I'd bet that is how it will be and Im OK with that. They are the bread winners for the Big 10, and they will make the decisions.
-
OSU and Michigan would be a rival game played every year.
I heard on USC talk of Michigan, MSU, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Northwestern.
I like it, I dont want to be in a division where the big players are Iowa and Wisconsin. They are both programs I respect, but I want to be in a division with a bigger player.
-
How many of these kids will back out if this is a 11:00 start time?
-
I think the writer believes sometime Michigan will be back. It may not be under RichRod, but Michigan will be back. The biggest matchup for the Big 10 will always be UM OSU, and to have that matchup twice would be best for the Big 10.
I like it, Penn St and OSU have a good rivalry. Nebraska Michigan will develop into a rivalry. The Big 12's biggest mistake may have been spliting divisions geographically. The only thing I want is to have whatever divisions are decided upon to be reviewed in around 5 to 10 years.

00:01
case in point WSU Michigan, Rose Bowl 93. Ryan Leaf spikes ball with 00:02 left but clock runs out. The refs have no authority to put time back on the clock, which is a rule that should be changed. But its the rule.

I notice Mr. Young mentions nothing of the revenue to be gained by a conference championship game. If the PAC were to dump Colorado and Utah at this point they would look worse than the Big 12. A little too late to be stating your opinion.

Braylon Heard will be a 2011 commit, right.

I love it!!
This is what a staff can do when hard work and discipline have been instilled in a roster. It allows them to take some chances on talented, but troubled individuals with upside knowing that the team will keep him in line.

One thing in our favor is the success of pitchers from college in the MLB draft. It seems as pitchers coming out of college go higher than high school kids.
But it dont look good.

Its about what ABC/ESPN want when it becomes time for a new deal in 2016.
-
I havent heard anything about the Big 12 courting BYU or anyone else, and I dont expect to hear anything. There really is no reason for the Big 12 to expand until 2016 when their ABC/ESPN deal is up. In 2014 or so BYU could be a candidate. They have a 70,000 seat stadium and facilities that are up to Big 12 standards, but its too soon to know what will happen.

Wasnt Enunwa one of the recruits we supposedly fell back to after missing with some other bigger name, more stars, recruits? Not bad for 3 stars.
