  1. Plus the students were moved because they stand on the bleachers and people behind them couldn't see.

Does security even try to get the students to stop standing on them anymore? I sit in East Stadium and there hasn't been a single time that we've been told to get off of them. However, when I sat in South Stadium, we were constantly told to get off of them, but stood back on the seats as soon as they left :horns2

  2. Dear Husker fans,

Saturday’s game is a great opportunity for each of us to display the pride we have for Nebraska football. As an integral part of our team, we need your support to give us the best home field-advantage possible. We hope you will blanket the stadium in red, be loud and support your Huskers. Equally important, however, is providing evidence to support Nebraskans’ reputation for treating our opponents well. Please be courteous, responsible and respectful of your neighbors and all players, coaches and fans. Only positive comments are appropriate in both word and print. Let’s enjoy a great game and show our Husker pride through respectful behavior.

    Best wishes,Tom Osborne

  3. I can't get that thought out of my head. 12-0, B12 Champion Nebraska gets shut out of The Dance for BSU/TCU. I know there's a lot of ball left, and anything can happen. Obviously we have to run the table either way, but I'm really looking forward to/hoping for the Nuclear war that is 11-0 Huskers V. 11-0 OU. What a perfect story that would be (for both programs)

There's no way that we get shut out of the Championship game by TCU or Boise. We have a conference championship game that would put us over them in the rankings, if we win at least.

I think with us being out of the national picture for so long, I think that if we run the table like you say, there's no chance in hell that the voters exclude us from the championship.

  4. This expansion, in my opinion, will help the university. The stadium will still sell out every game, because I'm sure we wouldn't expand this many seats if we knew for sure that we wouldn't fill them every game.

I can't count the number of times that friends have asked me for tickets while they were in town, only to be left to watch the game at a sports bar, or what have you.

This expansion is going to be just what the stadium needs.

  5. I was around some very nice K-State fans. I was in Section 9 Row 5, not bad seats; I was basically in a sea of purple. It seemed like everybody wanted to know why we were leaving, but knew what I was talking about when I brought up the whole Texas thing. Overall, I had a great time in Manhattan and I wish this wouldn't have been my first and last trip to Manhattan. Aggieville>>>>>O Street, just saying. K-State girls are fun, too ;)

  6. i like to think of myself as more than the "average fan" (yogi bear) and i dont see this game being all that close. here is Thomas rushing stats from their game against UCF:

Thomas had 22 rushes for 76 yards that averaged 3.5 yards per carry, resulted in 0 touchdowns with his long run being 12 yards.

    AGAINST UCF!

Kstate only had 83 total rushing yards against freaking UCF and we are worried?!?!?! WTF????? and might i also add that UCF GASHED KSU for 252 yards on the ground.

sorry boys but even if our weakness is stopping the run, our linebackers and linemen are better than UCFs.

we may struggle for a quarter or so in this game but it will be because of our mistakes and not because KSU is even close to as good as us, because they arent.

+1 my friend. May the 11 players on the Blackshirt nation descend upon the Kansas State Wildcat offense :bonesflag:

    good luck KSU.
