No kidding. What is going on? Whoever is watching this on TV, how do they look?

Defense looks fast, but then again, we're playing Western Kentucky--and I'm not aware of any blazers on that team. We're just physically much bigger than they are at every position, especially on the lines and it shows. We have at least one guy make a move and get through the line on every play. I think that we might be playing too aggressive on defense, just over-running some things and not playing as fundamentally sound as I think that we could. Gomes got lucky on one play where he got caught looking in the backfield and the QB threw it right over him. I realize that there were two penalties on the play and Gomes ended up breaking up the pass in the WR's hands, but there is still room for improvement--I'm sure that's what we'll hear from Pelini in the post-game, too.

This may have been posted before, but I have a suggestion for the board. Would it be possible to view past statuses? For instance, on the Huskerboard homepage, could there be a link maybe at the bottom of the status window saying "View Past Statuses"? I know of several occasions where I've gotten on Huskerboard and have seen dialogues among the statuses about something significant somebody had posted as their status. Since it only keeps 5-10 statuses in the window it kicks that one status off, so it leaves the new visitor wondering what the heck happened.

It's just a thought. I'm just spit-balling

It ESPECIALLY doesn't make sense that he gets to be reinstated given his track record, but you have 12 kids from UNC that may have gotten help editing term papers that are suspended for the biggest opening game in a decade for UNC.

It must have been his convincing press conference..

I just read on the bottom line of ESPN that Masoli and Ole Miss won the appeal and that he would play this season.

For all the 5* guys they seem to get, that defense was PATHETIC.

Not to mention they have Monte Kiffin as their Defensive Coordinator. I agree that the defense should have performed a lot better than it did. Maybe the attitude towards the season has changed for USC since the NCAA sanctions?
