So you're saying the 4th star should be tacked on shortly?.... Believe it or not, Kent Turene was initially a 4* when he committed to USC over the summer. Then in September, Rivals updated their star rankings and dropped him to a 3*. Scout on the other hand had him as a 3* but boosted him to 4* in September. Moral of the story: Rivals hates USC now but Scout still loves them. Turene was definatly worth the 4* ranking, but rivals is sometimes a little wacky with their rankings (see tyler moore). All of those scouting services are wacky. It's not an exact science. I was just throwing out some hyperbole for perspective in Turene's case for the giggles. Honestly I don't buy into the star hype or ratings too much. I was doing a little research of my own yesterday and found the Rivals ratings of all of the Huskers current starters (I was uncertain of a few of our starting linemen so I took ones I know have significant playing time). The Huskers average a 5.6 on offense and defense. Our coaches recognize and see the potential in players and they know how to use it.

Not really, he is down to Ark and NU. He might decide this week. Apparently Monday or Tuesday he will decide The sooner the better. Gotta keep that visit fresh in his head.

I would agree...however some fights aren't just against football. I think this is a case of Lincoln vs. Los Angeles. Not a very commonly won fight.

I know of two who have been rumored, but was not aware of a third. Naturally would have to assume the 3rd is Darien Bryant, although I was thinking he may take a few more visits since he is getting more interest daily. Where would these rumors have come from? I'm pretty shocked by this one. This is a guy that I thought we had a really good chance with. This definitely helps narrow our search for DEs. Well goodluck to him, I hope he has a lot of success (except against us of course ).

I do think of PO very highly. I see a playmaker in this guy. WRs, in my opinion, are the weakest part of our team. We seem to be turning this around over the last few seasons.

But, when your 6'3" or 6'4" and going against DB's that are 5'11" or shorter you really dont need a 40 inch vertical. Plus he looks like he has cornstalks for legs. Once we get some meat on him, his vertical will go up I'm sure. P.S. I love the new updated most wanted

I like the updated most wanted, but I think I would put Patrick Onwuaor before Wayne Lyons.

I was wondering the exact same thing, when are we gonna start seeing some LB we've been looking to get start making a move I mean season's already over halfway over and not a lot to show recruiting wise from LB, and obviously DL could use some work too. we've got one true LB in santos and are obviously still trying to get another. i'd be surprised if we took three, though i wouldn't mind considering we only took one last year, and a juco at that. I don't think that we will get much more than Santos if anything as far as LB. Moving to the Big 10 is going to effect how we recruit as well. We have to move away from smaller speedier LBs (David) and onto more physical LBs. We don't have many of those this year available. With the pick up of AG, I think we need to move Ward and Okafor to LBs anyways. They wont be seeing the field at the position they are at.

i expect vestal to be a good one. we do need to get at least one good end this year though, and two would be nice. Agreed. We have, what, 6 spots left? Hobbi, Jackson, Peat Jr, Hayes, Adeyanju, and Onwuasor sounds about ideal to me.
