  1. I'm going to go out on a big limb and say that Keith Lewis will commit before 10/16. On 10/17 Charles Jackson will be the first to commit of the visiters. Followed by Todd Peat, Hobbi, and Cash a little further down the rode. I'm thinking that will be all of our in-season commits. Curt Evans, Aaron Green, Jesse Hayes, James Adeyanju, and Keeon Virgile will all commit after the season. And I think thats all the room we have, so I'll call that good.

  2. Why does splitting them matter? I've never understood this argument by people. They will be playing each other every year with the chance to meet again in the championship game.

Them being in the same division and knocking the other out of the CCG does not equate to playing for all the marbles like the CCG would.

I think that's the point. I think the idea that at least if it could mean knocking the other out of the CCG, then it would retain some of its importance.

But right now it's all theoretical anyway. I don't see Michigan in the CCG for some time and by the time they are good enough, we'll probably have 2-4 more teams in the conference and there will be another division realignment.

I very much agree, riot. I think Expansion is far from over. We'll see 16-team conferences before the end of the decade.

    For the Big10?

Grab four east coast teams for JoPa?

What 4 teams could they add without watering down the conference?

ND would be a great add but is this likely? Probably not.

Pitt - I guess I could stomach them but they are usually average at best.

Rutgers - 10 minutes of fame is over.

WVU - heard concerns about academic quality.

Maryland - avg at FB, good Bball add.

VT - would be great but would they leave the ACC?

Missouri - possibly - capture St. Louis market.

Possibly UCONN or Boston College. None of these teams are elite caliber teams (with the possible exceptions of Notre Dame and VT), but they are still better than the bottom of the barrel teams like Northwestrn or Illinois.

  3. sounds like Santos has been in his ear, and he liked what he saw from Nebraska on tv last weekend.

he'll be in Arkansas this weekend

Well hopefully Bama can give them a good ol' shellacking...Arkansas scares me when it comes to this guy.

As much as I wanna win the recruiting game, I think Id rather see Bama lose so we can move up the rankings.

That would be nice. But if Arkansas beats Alabama, then Arkansas would jump us in the rankins. As long as we keep doing what we keep doing, we will move up the rankings and be there in the end. No worries with that as long as we keep dealing.

  4. My experience with high school coaches has been on both ends of the spectrum. My high school coached not only encouraged us to take college visits, but he helped schedule my visits as well. However, I have known some coaches to be as controling as to "encourage" their player's parents to wake their kids up in the middle of the night to feed them PB&J's to help put on weight during the season. I know I greatly appreciated my coach's effort for me.

  5. these guys are always like checking out and spoking the hot chick at the end of the bar... working yourself all up and getting that pool cue stick boner... only to get shot down a set of rolled eyes... a shrug off or... gnarly boyfriend dude in either MMA gear shirt or equally gay Affliction gear....

point is i try not to get my hopes up anymore.....

    Hilarious analogy here. +1 sir.

I'm not necessarily getting my hopes up either. I'm just wondering why I never hear any news about a player with a much talent as he as. I would think that this guy, someone who could play a number of diffrent positions and make an impact early, would be a top priority. Who is even recruiting him anyways?

  6. Just wondering, are we even trying to land this guy? He seems like the kind of guy that we don't want to miss out on. Someone like Ronald Powell as far as character and versatility, just a little bigger. I want him almost as much as I want Aaron.
