  1. We will be fine.  Most of these teams have 3-4 games left and they will cannibalize each other.  We really needed to beat Illinois and then I think a PSU and Michigan win would be a lock.  However, if we win 2 and drop the MSU game I think we will have a miserable week to wait until selection Sunday and it's anyone's guess.

i still stand by my assertion that Miles isn't a good coach, although this season has gone tremendously better than expected

I think he's average at best.  A lot of our benefit was a very favorable schedule and B1G teams that are frankly just bad compared to a normal year.  With this team and a normal talented B1G we would probably be 9-9 or 8-10.  But it is good to see us being able to close out games when you have the opportunity.  I hope JPJ comes back because this would be a very veteran team.  Would just have to hope they don't collapse like 2015 when we had all the pieces returning then too.

Unless upsets occur we will need to sweep Michigan or possibly beat Penn St back-to-back if they can get to the 5th spot.

Doesn't Ohio state hold the tie breaker over MSU right now?  If so, we really need tOSU to win out.  We matchup so much better with them than MSU

  4. I don't think its tourney or bust.  I think he's saved unless we manage to lose 4 straight and the first game in the B1G tourney.  While the B1G was down, we've still managed to win the games we should have.  Road games aren't easy but we've competed and won a good chunk of them. I think we've seen what Miles is capable of with the talent.  Our problem is the past has been terrible chemistry and we didn't have a balanced attack.  When we have box scores now of 4-5 guys with 10+ you are in good hands.  And frankly next year we could explode.  If no one leaves we could be a preseason top 25 team and rightly so.  The guys are finally playing together as a team.  Only lose taylor and gill.  Taylor who is a good defender but is a liability otherwise.  Gill who is only useful if he makes his shots.  It would make no sense for Cope to leave.  Palmer may, but hopefully Miles can convince him to come back.

This is only true because the 13-14 team had zero post presence.

Jordy is an absolute liability on defense/rebounding, and provides his fair share of blunders on the offensive end. Okeke is quite the opposite, but at least provides another rim protector to go along with Roby. Still haven't figured out why Jordy is first off the bench before Okeke..

This.  I can't stand Jordy.  He has stone hands and cannot ever grab the basketball.  It baffles me how a simple rebound turns into the ball bouncing around.

This may seem like a stupid question, but where do I click to see this? All I see is the current bracket projection.

If you are on mobile or a tablet it doesn't work.  Stupid right?  Have to be on a computer.

St John's has been killing it lately. Don't get me wrong, that was a bad loss for Nebraska, but it is looking more and more like St. John's is legit.

They lost their best player Lovette shortly after our game.  If he hadn't got hurt for the year they would be a tournament team and probably ranked.

We are going to have an off night and one of our opponents might have a hot shooting night.

While I am very excited about the final 5, i still think we have set ourselves up to lose 1 and still make the dance. It would require a B1G Tourney win.

Maryland and Penn State will both be tough tests but this is "put up or shut up" time. Even Miles has been coaching better but we havent blown anyone out so I am still nervous but who knows.

single players may have an "off night" but we have 4 legitamate players that could go off for 20+ any night (JPJ, Cope, Watson, Roby).  We had an off night at tOSU and JPJ single handlidly kept us in that game til the end.  The teams to finish out the schedule are nothing like tOSU and we have the benfit of home crowd.  Penn state is the scariest as they are bipolar and could shoot lights out at any time.  However, if we are 4-0 up to that game, there's absolutely no way we drop that game at home on senior night with a bid on the line. I too am very nervous we could drop one, and history shows that's what we do, but this team is finally playing together and they are damn scary when that happens.  While the B1G may be down this year, it's still impressive to go on the run we're on.  Road games are tough, MSU and Purdue barely squeaking by a lot of mediocre teams.  My head says 4-1 but my heart says we can do 5-0.

  9. No reason we shouldn't be able to win out.  We have more talent than each team we face.  We get 4 at home.  Illinois is a weird team but I think we have come together and we know we can't afford to drop a game right now.  Starts tomorrow, drub Rutgers and then big game against Maryland.  PBA needs to be lit for that one.

As of 5 mins ago we are 55 in RPI. Gained 4 spots after beating Minnesota..

Of all the teams on the bubble. Nebraska schedule is by far the easiest. Nebraska should win out. 23 wins will be hard for the committee to ignore, with that being said. The teams in front of us, some have a brutal schedule, aka Virginia tech. Either these teams will help Nebraska or kill Nebraska chances.

I went through the schedules of all the bubble teams and a couple that are in right now but barely and you are correct.  Schedules are brutal and teams in the ACC, SEC, and B12 are going to beat each other up left and right, most bubble teams have matchups with each other.  If we just keep wining we will sneak in.  A lot of those teams will have 2 more losses by year end.  We probably need to win out to feel comfortable, then beat Michigan in the B1G tourney and I think we lock it in.  No reason we shouldn't expect to win out with 4 home games and playing hott right now.

  11. tOSU would be a gift for us in the 2nd game.  Hell they could lose their 1st game.  They have definitely been the surprise team and they are good, but definitely beatable.  We should have beat them on the road.  We just need to avoid Purdue or MSU.  And we also can't act like we would just beat Michigan in our first game, that will be a much tighter matchup.
