I cannot believe what I saw on that enitre final possession of Auburn. Oregon worked so hard to tie the game up in the final minutes and then they lose because of a lucky 30+ yard run where Dyer's knee just happened to not touch the ground.
Ummm... Well, the fake punt worked, and the 2 point try ended up being the difference that allowed Oregon to tie the game late. The Oregon offense you're talking about still finished with 449 total yards, and Auburn won on a fluke run late.
Also, Auburn plays dirty, and they pay their players.
Not to mention that in the last 5 years, Oregon came closer than anyone else to actually beating the SEC in the national title game. Closer than Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio State.
i didnt have a horse in the race. those that say that the run, or "fluke" or whatever decided that game didnt watch the same game i did. it scored no points. oregon had several other opp to win the game themselves and couldnt do it. they got STUFFED at the goaline. TWICE.
