    Wow...FINALLY getting around to watching Ken Burns' Civil War documentary. Just fascinating. It's incredible to think how recent these events really were. In the scheme of things, 150 years is nothing. Incredible, how this exploded from an outcry over slavery, the economic ramifications, and the ultimate, (and incredibly rapid) secession of the southern states.
