  1. I don't think the pissed off people on message boards are indicative of the attitude of Husker fans as a whole
  2. It could be semantics. Maybe hired = the contract has been signed
  3. Unsportsmanlike Conduct just reported it on their Facebook page
  4. ugh I would hate to lose Sanders
  5. This is from a story about him being hired by Indiana, which weirdly was just in December.... "Raymond, who played seven years in the NFL, spent the 2009 and 2010 seasons as the cornerbacks coach at Utah State. He worked with the cornerbacks and the strength and conditioning program the previous three years at his alma mater, LSU. "Corey came highly recommended by Doug Mallory, Mike Ekeler, (Nebraska Head Coach) Bo Pelini and (Utah State Head Coach) Gary Andersen," Wilson said. "He was an excellent college player and he spent seven seasons in the NFL. Corey's off to a great start in his college coaching career and is one of the great defensive backfield technicians in the country. We are excited with the qualities he brings to our defensive staff and welcome him to our team." Raymond worked with Mallory (2006-08) and Ekeler (2006-07) at LSU, and he is excited to rejoin his former colleagues. Corey Raymond comes to Bloomington after two years at Utah State. "I look forward to working with Coach Wilson and getting the opportunity to work with Coach Mallory and Coach Ekeler once again," Raymond said. "We are ready to build a program that will compete week in and week out in the Big Ten. This is an exciting opportunity and I can't wait to get going.""
  6. They "tweeted" awhile ago that they're hearing Indiana CB coach Corey Raymond is heading to NU. He coached with Bo at LSU. I honestly don't really know how legit the site is, but here's the link to their twitter account http://twitter.com/fbrumormill
  7. Is there a chance he's out of town or something and can't get back in because of the weather? Just a wild guess
  8. In response to dudeguyy: In that scenario, if we were already getting rid of two offensive coaches, wouldn't it make sense to get rid of the offensive coordinator as well and get someone in here who, like you said, runs what Bo wants to run?
  9. Why don't you think they'd invite the team to introduce the LB coach? Seems perfectly logical for them to meet their new coach
  10. Yeah I hear you zoogies. They actually explained already that they just didn't want any rampant speculation until signing day was over, and that thread probably would have ended up being full of that. They're really worried about recruits seeing things on that board I think.
  11. I made a topic on HI about it and it got locked within like 3 minutes. Nobody was even speculating or anything yet haha. Seems weird.
