  1. "I thought the Wyoming game last year was more telling. First game of the year. At home. Big expectations and a lot to prove. A team loaded with veterans. Bo Pelini already on the hotseat."

Offensively sure, hence the 37 points scored with 530 yards of total offense, but on D? Not a chance.

  2. if anyone has not listened to the presser, and i mean listened, you need to do so before judgement is made on how he acted like a fool during it. He had a very calm tone considering a loss and questions around his job status. was he firm in his responses to questions about whether or not he will be fired? absolutely, but when you only get pieces of his response, it can be spun into multiple directions. this is not a case of bo yelling or stomping around like a fool (see mike gundy). This is someone that is fed up about being asked about his job, something that wasn't an issue until the media jumped on it after UCLA. the fact that the OWH only chooses to put the "if they want to fire me, go ahead" as the title a link to the presser is complete BS. Match that with the chosen picture and it will get a bigger response than it should.

  3. "This mystery(?) douchebag sparked nationwide discussion, generated countless web hits on message boards and news sites, strangely unified much of Husker nation in Bo's favor at a time when he was under fire, and created excitement and interest during what would otherwise be an awkward week. Maybe he's the hero we deserve after all. Then again, I bet lots of us lost some work productivity this week because of all this too. Ass!"

    Batman?

  4. It's people that say "fire pelini" that really make me question why I read this board. If coaching is so easy why don't we all do it? Last week we loved him and this week everyone is saying his players are terrible, he's lost the team, he can't coach, he's an awful recruiter, and on and on. He IS the perfect coach for Nebraska, a hard nosed, no nonsense, tough minded individual and here people are trying to get rid of him after 4 seasons. Why don't all you non-supporters go back to your armchair, open a frash bag of potato chips, start another season on NCAA '12, and comment to yourself on how if you were coach you would do a better job. This board is for fans.
