It's not a crew. It's an "all-star" lineup, meaning the top rated officials at each spot from various crews. The group doing our game won't have done a game together all year. Conspiracy theorists would worry about how that crew was selected--top rated in what respect, anti-Nebraska bias? What I got from this article was that Osborne got across that the A&M officials were bad and we don't want them again, and that he has been involved in discussions about it. You are not reading that\responding correctly. The number one referee is on a crew that has not done any of Nebraska's games. Four other members of that crew will also be at the CCG. The big questioned asked (which is the red beacon question)why didn't that crew do any of Nebraska's games??? OK, gotcha, most of the officials are from one crew, and we haven't seen that crew. Dunno why. How many crews are there? Might not be that much of an anomaly. With 12 teams, there would need to be at least 6 crews, not including any out of conference games that use Big XII officials. 6 crews and 12 games per team, we'd have a shot at seeing each crew twice. We know we had the same crew 3 times in all the games we got hosed, or nearly hosed. Just spit-balling here, but I'd guess there are at least 8+ crews. I almost find it humorous that a husker would think that Nebraska would get the best of anything from the Big XII, especially considering who is runnin the show.
