I havent really heard anything about a preference with this kid. A lot of people from our area who do get offers from big D1 schools generally only get recruited from our tri state (indiana, michigan, illinois) big 10 schools and mac schools. They are used to sticking around close to home, maybe the fact that the huskers are joining the big 10 will make a difference, who knows. Im sure since this is a rarity for our area the local media may try to pry and have articles. I will try to keep an update on here, im very neutral on nebraska..but its very exciting to have a player for us like this and its fun to see how the true fans of other programs react to good talent being recruited.

I signed up for this forum just so I could reply to this subject alone. I live in New Haven, IN. I went to the high school this kid goes to and I watched him play about 4 games this year. He consistantly had big time rushes, nearly every game this season he would break atleast one big one. In fact, during the playoffs he has a game in which he rushed for 250 yards on 10 carries for 5 td's. He isnt the biggest back in the world, but hes strong and can shed blocks and break away into the open extremely quick. Hes got good speed but even better quickness. The school thats gets this kid will certainly not regret it.
