  1. Do you even watch Husker football?

Dennard is overrated? He's one of the top CBs in the nation.

Our TE's can be covered with a slow backer? Ever heard of Kyler Reed?

Our D-line is our strength and their speed can prevent scrambling?

Linebackers are fairly solid? Lavonte David says hello.

Most of our WRs are sure-handed? HAHAHAHAHA..... HA

Wow. How do you not get this?

  2. The biggest problem most seem to be ignoring is the fact that he has absolutely zero problem lying. He lied about the incident that caused his suspension. It now appears he lied to authorities about the wreck. Neither incident is really that bad, but I do question why he always lies about things. We've all mashed on the gas pedal at a green light. I don't see the wreck as anything other than typical horseplay. It was dumb, and it doesn't seem like something most 24 year olds would do. However, it's something I'm guessing most all of us have done in the past. I have a big problem with him lying, and I have an even bigger problem with him bringing the Man Upstairs into his lie like he did with the incident on the football field.

He has that incident in Lincoln to where he somehow got off with no charges. Portrays the whole program at Nebraska very poorly.

Right, because in that incident he did nothing legally wrong and being the only witness he could say what ever he needed to say to get himself out of trouble. It happens all the time to less famous people.

    Exactly

So where were you trying to go with that?

He's just trying to drive traffic to his blog. Pretty obvious.

    Cool blog, bro.

  5. I think I was listening to On Campus with Bill King on XM radio when a guy called and said he was trying to explain how we come to a National Champion in football to a foreign friend. His friend listened for a bit and then compared it to the way they pick a winner in figure skating... three judges all with an agenda.

That is true. That's just how it works. I don't understand why people like it.

  6. why not Marvin Sanders? Last time I ask.

Why do you think Marvin Sanders, a coach in apparently good standing, just up and left Nebraska without former notice and hasn't even sniffed another coaching job since then?

  7. Did you guys read the yahoo article about how corrupt the BCS is? And you have people like craig james putting Boise at 24 so they get a bad bowl game and all the coaches who made really bad ballots at the end to make their opponents look better and stuff.

The bowl system is a corrupt disaster but people still support it. It is weird.

  8. This is purely a hypothetical and just for fun: if you were given $1,000,000 and had to double down on Alabama vs Oklahoma State on a nuetral field, where would your money go?

IMO, Alabama is the safer bet. Yes, Alabama missed there shot to go unbeaten; but didn't miss as badly as OSU.

If you were given a million bucks to bet on the 2009 Sugar Bowl, you'd put it on Alabama. And you'd lose that million. Bama was a ten point favorite in that game and lost by 14.

  9. Why does Ekeler's name keep popping up? No way in hell. There's a better chance that monkeys will come flying out of Lil Red's butt than for that to happen.

Why? He is a great coach.

Word was when he left for Indiana..............it was a mutually satisfying decision for all parties .........................

Which is correct, he couldn't stand working for Bo.

Wrong. He played at KSU while Carl was an assistant there, and he knew who Bo was from that stint. He then went on to catch his first break in college coaching as a grad assistant under Bo Pelini at Oklahoma. He followed Bo to LSU and he knew who and what Bo was back then before he again followed Bo to Nebraska.

He didn't just wake up one morning and realize he didn't like Bo. He got a promotion. People like to project their feelings onto others to detract on coaches or players they don't like. It's transparent.

  10. I don't understand those that don't like that car. Nice. Apparently Suh struggles with rear wheel horsepower, too bad such a terrible driver wrecked such a nice car.

He probably lost control when he stomped on it...

He didn't stomp on it. He just lost his balance.

That's right, I could see that......

    Worst. Lie. Ever.

As bad as "I swerved to avoid a dog."

  11. It's just that Osborne spent years talking behind the scenes with Big Ten folks like Barry Alvarez and Jim Delaney. He didn't just wake up recently and realize he had no idea what he got himself into. This whole move wasn't a last minute thing. And we know that Kansas fans are butthurt in the extreme that Nebraska left. A guy you know who thinks he read an article where Osborne might have said something about regretting his move isn't much to go on.

  12. I was talking football with a KU Alumni last night at the bar and he commented that he either read or saw an interview that T.O. is regretting the move to the Big 10 because of it's structure. I researched and couldn't find anything about it.

Did anyone hear this? Just curious and really can't see T.O. saying this.

Did you know the word gullible isn't in the dictionary?
