Reading his responses to specific incidents is sickening. -LP didn’t really beat Kate M, but he did hurt her some (Didn’t he drag her down three flights of stairs by her hair and beat her head on the mailboxes?).

He’s also not really a danger to society, but has some issues with explosiveness every 5 months or so. -who fricken says this?

And I personally knew Natalie (Christian Peter) strong young lady right there- to not give in to TO’s influence-although what punishment was served.

and again back to MJ- do you think he  really scaled the outside of his girlfriends apartment to get notes for class? And as in several, or many, incidences to shortly follow, the victim and witness refused to press charges.  I’m sure they were leaned on.

And I’m not sure I’ve ever read these articles with all the incidences chronicled and detailed. I was a college student and was probably at a party somewhere.  But I’m disgusted now and it does change the way I view our program’s history.

From my recollection, LP punched the mailboxes and left blood on the mailboxes from his bloody hand. Not condoning anything that LP did, just provide some clarity from my memory. She is still a victim and he an assaulter but not confident he beat her head on the mailboxes.

Lawrence Phillips was my favorite Husker player of all time. I cannot defend what he did to Kate McEwen, but for sheer player on the field, LP was and always be my favorite player.

Also, other than some great moments against Colorado, Brook Berringer wasn't all that great in 1994. He had a couple good games, but the defense and running game carried the team when he was the QB.

I agree with this 100%. It’s almost like we know each other……

It's a universal language.  Some dude saw my hat from the tee box on a golf course in Minneapolis two weekends ago and did that.  We responded, it was fun.

    Creepy I'll give you.

My own take? Frost is in the bottom 5 coaches in the B1G.

I wish Frost bottom 5 coaches was a hot take. I’m not sure it is!

  5. Frost stays. Nebraska has made progress. Two key pieces of evidence:

    -Best defense in ten years.

    AND

-I was in Ann Arbor in 2018 for Nebraska/Michigan. I was in Lincoln for Nebraska/Michigan in 2021.

Stevie Wonder could see the difference in those teams.

  6. Want progress examples? Our best defense in over ten years with three of our losses against teams who remain undefeated. More progress examples? I was in the stadium in Ann Arbor for Michigan three years ago. I was in Lincoln for Michigan two weeks ago. Anyone who did the same sees the obvious progress. Remarkable progress in fact. Throw a weird Covid year in there and that wasn’t that long ago.

We knew this was a long term project. Was this a successful season? No. But I have no interest in going a different direction with head coach barring multiple crazy blow outs or obvious off-the-field or legal issues.

For those who want Frost fired today….how did you feel after the Michigan loss two weeks ago? Probably pretty good. Heartbreaking loss. But we were close. All the Minnesota loss told me was that we still have a ways to go. And I am willing to wait a little longer to find out.

That being said, I expect to see some staffing changes.

To be fair, this team could've gone to a bowl game last year. They were offered, but they decided collectively, as a program, that spending two more weeks with each other was just simply too much. It had been a tough year and they were all ready to go home at that time. The culture has not changed one bit in Lincoln.

Maybe that’s the issue. Perhaps a few players voted to not give a crap today?
