I believe you're thinking of the A&M game that year. Osborne hit Tannehill right in the chest as the ball was thrown and they flagged him for it. Even Herbstreit was miffed by that call. 

Is there anyway they asked this to be stopped to help get rid of the narrative of "all it is out there is cornfields". I mean you hear recruits all the time talk about how Lincoln is a lot nicer and bigger than they expected and that it's not just cornfields. Maybe that had something to do with the university having asked them to take it down.

Didn't even think about that. Hopefully this works in our favor. Him and Moore could be a lethal combination a couple years from now. 

My question is why would Texas not want this kid? I haven't watched any film but I feel like kid ranked as highly as he is and competing in the state of Texas that this is a guy many school around the country would welcome with open arms. 

I would be more than happy to add this kid to our WR class

A few posts up in an interview with an OSU guy it was mentioned Parsons thinks the 3-4 fits him better. Personally I think he would be better in the 3-4. More ways to use his skill set in that base formation.

Often times I find I have a strong opinion on something but I dont know why.  I either learn from folks here or do my own legwork in order to participate and defend.   Its a safe place to ask questions.  

The asking questions part will most likely be the bulk of my posts. Just trying to learn as much as I can.

Agreed with that. I doubt I contribute a whole lot to this forum but I'll definitely be checking in to see others opinions. I don't like to get involved in something unless I'm fairly confident with whats being talked about. I am a long ways from that with politics. 

I think my favorite response was the guy who said the only thing he can be impartial about is what prison he goes to. 

I never really got much into politics before last weekend as I found them a big waste of time and depending on what news station you watch they're gonna push their agenda on you. The events of this past weekend have piqued my interest in whats going on now. I knew there were issues in the USA but it just baffles me that there are people who view the rallies in Charlottesville as the right thing to do. I've basically lost all hope that Trump knows how to fix this issue and thats a scary thought. Forget N. Korea we've got plenty of issues in our damn country to figure out first.

You can't continually have soft tissue injuries with the same position group over and over again each year.

It almost makes you wonder if there is something in the way KW is teaching guys that is having this effect on them. I think if it were something that was based in the weight room you would hear of the secondary having the same issues but I don't remember that being the case the last few year. 

Now I'm not pinning this on KW, just wondering if there is something in one of the techniques he teaches that is causing this or if it is truly just a coincidence. 

Most of the smoke is how hard Florida recruits, specifically Matt Corall, are recruiting him. However recruiting guys don't see much happening at the moment.

At this point unless Bookie himself comes out and says he's re-opening his recruitment I won't put much stock into anything. He's part of the reason we have the class we currently do. I can't see him going elsewhere.

My favorite part has always been the black-to-red faded facemask.

Loved the facemask of the helmet but I wasn't a huge fan of how they just left everything else the same. If you're gonna do something different give us a red or black matte helmet with the cool faded facemask. Just looked odd to me.

I loved the matte white helmets.

Don't look now but apparently the Cardinals remembered that they do have talented players and have won 7 in a row to close the gap to one game between them and the Cubs. Should be interesting to see how his plays out as I'm still not sold on the Cards but at least they're fun to watch right now. Helps bridge the gap till football season.

saw somewhere this is Miles' first scholarship player from the state of Nebraska in his tenure here.

Believe it's the first one since like 02-03. I think it was Wes Wilkinson and then Jason Dorriseau (not sure on the spelling). Thats quite a long drought for not having an in-state kid.

I would be interested. Preferably on ESPN but Yahoo works as well. Im thinking Mike Riley signed traveling corn cob hat for the winner.
